Mercury is the rare MeetFighter guy who can put up a challenge on the mat which is always fun! He’s a very experienced grappler and kinda competitive which made things even more interesting (and kinda hot). I’ve still got him outsized and outskilled but with a little more training he’ll be dangerous

Was great meeting up with this powerhouse. Trained and "strong" ;) this was a great time and I'm really happy he was able to fit me in his schedule. I'd heard he'd been demolishing guys all weekend at Wrestlefest, so I knew I had my work cut out for me with this stud. We had a fun, aggressive (safely aggressive), submission brawl. I won't spoil the outcome – but I'm sure both of us are going to hit up even more bjj classes before the rematch.

Really a nice guy, had a blast talking with him. Oh.. and I think he works out... so... if muscles are your thing, you should probably hit him up. Though don't be surprised when he uses them in your match!

Got an opportunity for a rematch with tomphila39. He was one of my very first matches on this site 5 years ago and was instrumental in drawing me out to actually meet and wrestle rather than just think about it. Was so happy to get a rematch with him at a recent NYC Wrestlefest, now that I developed more skill and confidence with my wrestling. We had a fun match with a lot of exchanges of holds and pins, rolling around and getting sweaty. And off the mat, he is such a friendly and king person, great guy all around. Looking forward to many rematches. Highly recommendation him if you get a chance to wrestle him!

Had a great wrestling match with tomphila39. He is skilled, strong, and pretty knowledgeable about wrestling moves. It was great for a relative novice like me. We had a sweaty match that challenged us both, but it was also very friendly. He’s a great guy to wrestle with! I recommend him highly, and look forward to another match with him.

This guy is as strong as he looks—usually guys have a hard time getting past my legs, but he gave them a good workout. A strong, intense wrestler who knows how to have fun. Thanks for the good time, man!

Had a very fun 3-way match with tycoonboy on Monday at wrestlefest and am so glad I did! I love how he just let me and the other involved go for each other, joining to help both of us get an advantage over the other. He is also a great conversationalist and so strong! I definitely recommend meeting up with him if you get the chance!
