5'11" 180 lbs VS 5'9" 300 lbs. Some would think I was going on a suicide mission to get myself into such a match. I've had my eyes on this dude for some time. He attempted to travel here at least once but circumstances got in the way. He finally made it out here and we got a hotel room. At first I thought it was going to be a one-sided slaughter. He has a reputation for being rough and has fought a couple of my friends back East who are even more rough than this guy. But, as we got into gear and began to fight, sparks flew in every direction. The chemistry between us was DEAD ON! It's been my honor and privilege to wrestle this big bear multiple times over the last few days. And I've even gotten him to submit a number of times. Of course, his weight and aggression are overpowering and I've submitted a lot more. But then, who's keeping score? We are having more fun than either of us could have ever imagined. Unfortunately, he flies home tomorrow and I'm afraid part of me is going to be going with him. But we have made a pact to fight again. This guy is definitely for keeps. And don't let his size scare you. He promised (and kept every word of it) that he would hold back some and not go full force. He's also a very gracious and hospitable gentleman off the mats and a great conversationalist. Multiple 10 ratings for this guy.

The wrestling match with Michael KL definitely ranks in my Top 5 of all time.

Michael KL is a legend on MeetFighters — and the Super King of Gut Punching. I threw my hardest shots at him, but he took them all with calm, effortless grace. On the other hand, his punches? Brutal. Within minutes, I was on my knees, sweating, drooling, and gasping for air, barely able to stand up straight.

(Okay okay — I did have an exhausting 3v1 match the night before, so maybe that’s my reason for crumbling faster than usual)

I would recommend Michael KL to anyone who’s passionate about wrestling and gut punching, as he sets the high standard. Off the mat, Michael is someone great to chat with.

Met Rog today after a very quick chat. Easy to arrange and super friendly guy. Strong with some great strong legs but very safe, sane and caring.

Had the pleasure to meet this nice big guy during my trip to Lisbon. He has great physique and skills for wrestling, but can adapt to your level to make both sides enjoy the match. We had a long sweaty session and a great time grappling and wrestling. Off the mat a guy with whom you will enjoy talking with too. Highly recommended!

HardStruggle is a sweet and nice guy. Before the match, he showed me a bit of San Diego and had great conversations over lunch.

On the mats though he is very strong and skilled. He is also very safe, making sure youre ok and everyone is having a good time. Managed to get some taps out of him too, when he was not just overpowering me. Definitely recommend meeting him if you pass through San Diego.

This spontaneous encounter turned to be an amazing match with an amazing man.

CanadianMuscle is a tank, immovable pack of muscles. Honestly, his pics dont do him justice, as he is even bigger in person. Even though i tried my hardest, couldn't get any tap out of him, compared to the countless times he bested me. Extremely skilled and a great coach, he helped me with tips on wrestling, which almost helped me get him back, but will need some more practice to beat the master. Although he has monstrous strength, he kept everything safe, making sure he doesnt just crush me with his muscles.

Off the mats, he is a very kind, smart and great person. Definitely an encounter i wont forget and that i would love to do again any time. If you ever get the chance to meet him, do not hesitate. You won't regret it!

We have been chatting for quite some time until finally being able to meet in Valencia (by coincidence haha). Good physique and a really nice guy to wrestle with. We had great time on the mat and nice conversations over a couple of drinks. Thanks for the match and the guide tour;) highly recommended!
