Match with jeffjcao became a truly highlight of my trip to Chicago.
I am so glad that he called me for a match, almost last minute arrangement.
Jeffjcao is skilled bjj competitor with well developed arsenal of moves, submissions and strategies. He is enough aggressive to make match as fun as competitive. Our space was very limited, by our match he already had 2hr training in his dojo, and I had 15LB weight advantage, but man - he is a tough cookie - he came and delivered quality grappling! Look for his darce choke, he pulls it out of his pocket when u do not expect it at all!
It was easy to schedule match with jeffcao, he showed up on time and was flexible enough to meet my challenging schedule.
I look forward for round 2, hopefully in dojo with unlimited mat space - I want full experience of this wrestler!

While the conditions were not ideal (2 big guys on a queen sized bed) it was an absolute pleasure meeting AthleticDad. We will definitely have to roll this one back on some mats so we can get a true test of each other’s grit. Even with the limited space he was a ton of fun on and off the mats. Easy to set up a match with and if he says he will be there he shows up! I look forward to our next meeting.

I learned two things meeting up with wrestleinsocks: never try to have a real match on a queen size bed and that I can't wait to reconnect and wrestle him when one of us can host on our mats. Despite our limited space, had a fun time rolling with this strong, athletic guy who can clearly deliver a challenge with his experience and skill. Easy to coordinate a match with, enjoyable to converse with, and easy to recommend to anyone wanting a tough but safe match!

Crusher came to my hotel room on short notice today and is all his previous recs say and more. He is a strong guy and his legs can easily male you tap. We had a good time but I was outmatched though he taught me a few things. Great guy to talk to and roll with. Hope to lock up with him again sometime.

AJ is a really nice guy and lots of fun. Enjoyed rolling around with him. Skilled wrestler. Very accommodating to your likes and skill level. I would highly recommend AJ!

Glad I got to meet up with this wily little stud. He was harder to put down than I initially though and was even first to take my back! Definitely impressed! Seemed okay with being smacked around a little too 😉

I had a blast having a submission battle with Isiah. I didn’t realise how long we’d been going for until I’d checked the time and it was over 3 hours later. Time flys when you’re having fun.

Bendy is a word I don’t often use but it was a perfect description. He can take a lot of punishment. After every tap, he would give a cheeky smile and then he would back for another try to get a submission out of me. He is strong, and will be a challenge when he gets more experience.

Off the mat, he’s a genuinely nice bloke. Down to earth, honest and a good chat. Hopefully we get a chance to wrestle again soon.

Well, what shall I say, what not all the other opponents have already written before. Indeed he's a little beast on the mat :-), ambitious, technically skilled, never giving up. We had some long fights, but I had no chance against him today. Revenge will follow ;-). Outside the mat a very friendly, pleasant and interesting conversationial partner. So, really highly recommended! Do not miss him, if you want a defeat :-).

Very strong opponent who knows how to use his strength and technique to give you a very hard time. Those big muscles are all real, and bigger in presence than in those pictures.

A nice guy also off the mats, with clever thoughts and spirit of humour. Waiting for the rematch!
