although i could see a pattern in our fights: i would win the first few rounds, stretching my force a little until i got tired and on that moment Yann would takeover the upper hand.
So even though we made each other tap more or less the same amount, i’d rate him the stronger oponent.

And as usual: after the fight we went for a drink and some simple food, i enjoyed the conversations i had with Yann. He is openhearted and Is not afraid of share some of his life experiences. I’d be happy to pay him a visit in Paris to get a rematch someday!

For my first wrestling meeting at Pippa's in Manchester, this handsome and fit wrestler, who wears great gears, challenged me first, once arrived there, and on the ring! (first time for me on a ring). We had a great submission fight : he is both resistant and flexible. I have enjoyed a lot the time spent together on and outside the mats.
I hope we will meet again soon for another round ! Very recommended.

Dad made me feel very welcome as soon as I walked, through the doors at my first meet. Within no time we had got in one of the mat rooms and were checking each other out. Dad's reputation precedes him so I knew he was good and could handle a rough match plus he is a sturdy man who looks good in his gear.

I got to work straight away with headlocks and chokes, but the big guy got some taps from me. I got my scissors around his neck a few times too. Dad's gut is also just calling out to be punched.... hard, so I did, many times whilst he was under me. 😉

Dad is a great guy and I enjoyed meeting and showing him what I can do. Roll on round 2 big man 😎

Sgboy has a great bod and pretty good strength that makes him a good opponent. Although he lacks experience, he picks up the moves quickly and is able to get me in some of the holds in no time. Off the mat he is a nice and friendly person to chat with.

Joey is a tough opponent. He is very skillful and safe. i tried applying holds but i cant just get into him. it was a fantastic match still. hope we can wrestle more

Strong fighter and an even better person. Was pretty hard to make those big muscles tap. Very easy going interesting kind and spontaneous guy, who has a great sense of humor and some interested in bjj and mma aß well.

Finally wrestled him after all these years. I think he jobbed for me, because I felt he knew more than what he was showing me. But it was fun punishing him. A gracious hospitable host!

We finally met up after a year of chatting. It was well worth the wait! Had a super fun time! He definitely can take some punishment and has high pain threshold ! Was a blast being apply to apply pressure and have him take it! Definitely up for a rematch and recommend 100%

Had an awesome match with this guy! Wrestled for a couple hours, don’t underestimate him like I did. He is extremely skilled, strong, and knows a lot of painful holds and he put me in a lot of them haha. Really eager for a rematch. He’s in great shape and really friendly off the mats.
