I do see now, why he picked this name - IndyWarrior - absolutely true!
If you are looking for legit, intense competitive grappling - he is your guy! IndyWarrior is very well trained in no-gi bjj, meaning that when he rolls he is not trying to adjust skills from gi training - he has all tools in his portfolio already - polished, targeted and strategic. He is very flexible, mobile and quick, his knees are, like, *everywhere* and are a true pain in the ... - when u think, "Gosh, I finally passed his guard and got him in control, " he brings his knee between us from nowhere and you need to sweat again to deal with it! Yes, I sweat a lot! :)))
IndyWarrior invited me to his bjj school where I had tons of fun rolling with him and with other grapplers - I got full release of my energy that accumulated since last training and that is desperately needed to be released.
I spend awesome time with this skilled and intense grappler!
BTW, outside of mats he is super fun to have time with! Thank you, man for delivering so cool and memorable experience in my first visit of IN, you made my weekend!

This mat beast happened to be passing through Indy and was looking for some jiujitsu, so I invited him to my gym's open mat, and boy am I glad I did!

This guy is so much fun to roll with; aggressive, great pressure game, super skilled. Gi is his hometown; if we had been playing in the angry pyjamas rather than doing nogi (or "fancy dancing," as he calls it), which is my thing, I'd have been absolutely pasted, but as it was I feel pretty good about how hard he had to work to score on me, and I even managed to put him on the defensive a few times. ;-) Didn't manage to score, but then neither did anyone else at my gym he rolled with except the head coach and another black belt.

You're always welcome back for some rolls, man! The rest of you, you should wrestle this guy! But, be ready for some lessons. LOL

Hosted cntrl for a fun competitive sub match. He is a tall, strong guy who definitely knows a few moves, and although we went pretty even I would say he had the edge. Otherwise a genuinely nice guy and a good communicator. Don't pass up the chance for a match with him.

So glad that Steve was able to be part of one of my mini-meets in the ring at Walthamstow. We had a fantastic give and take session, which worked really well - not least since I am four stone lighter than him. Add a bit of pro for good measure, and it was a perfect match-up for me. Super temperament, super personality and super company for a sherbet afterwards. Steve easily makes it to my "must see again list." Thanks, Steve!

Após cerca de 5 anos da primeira luta e uns 3 ou 4 da última luta, nos encontramos novamente. E como era de se esperar, a luta não foi tão fácil, mas ele muito mais trabalho que a última vez. Sempre bom rever os amigos e colocar aquele combate em dia.
Sempre um prazer em encontrar este camarada, que sempre está de bom humor e com muita disposição.
