It was great meeting Gp. He's strong and has some power in his punches. He can take a hit and keep fighting, which made he experince better. Overall, great guy and would highly recommend. Can't wait for round two!

Yesterday we were at Armybob’ s place for grappling, bjj and boxing. It was great fun! Dutch wrestler is as skilled bjj fighter. But instead of throwing us in every corner he coached us and learned us some techniques. So it was a special afternoon and i hope to see and fight him again. You must meet him!

I am writing to highly recommend WrestleMania88 as an exceptional wrestling competitor, mentor & individual. Having faced him directly on the mat, I can attest to his high caliber of talent and character.

As an opponent, he is formidable. His technical wrestling skills are sharp, precise and highly effective. What stands out most during a match is his relentless stamina. He maintains an intense, unbroken pace from beginning to ending, forcing his opponents to perform at their absolute limits.

Despite being a competitor, he is incredibly generous with his knowledge. He actively took the time to train and guide me, offering actionable feedback to improve my own techniques. His enthusiasm for the sport is contagious & his willingness to elevate the people around him shows true leadership.

Off the mat, he is an entirely different person in the best way possible. He operates with a genuinely warm, engaging & welcoming demeanour. He extended incredible hospitality to me, going out of his way to ensure I felt comfortable and supported. It is extremely rare to find someone who is a fierce, unyielding opponent during a match, yet an incredibly kind and gracious host immediately afterward.

WrestleMania88 represents the absolute best of the wrestling community. He is an elite athlete, a dedicated teacher and a phenomenal human being. It was my first match through MeetFighters and I am glad that I chose to meet such a wonderful opponent, friend & a guide.

Sometimes, you put faces to names. Once in a while, you put faces to – yeah – icons. :)

PH and I have been circling each other for a while. A big fan of his IG: this gentleman knows how to travel in style (and thank you for all of the advice, including adjusting my upcoming Asia itinerary). We also had notable things in common. Fest weekend is a semi-blur – aligning work, friends, commitments and relatives, and trying not to get too rundown after 4 matches/day. But whatever we can't fit in this time, I'm confident we'll be seeing each other in a different city. Or time zone. Or country.

Because this was a 7:30 AM meetup and circumstances had me up 'til 430AM. They'll be time to record later, but PH & I enjoyed the preview. After Mr. Charisma made me a second cup of coffee, I discovered his RNC is the real-deal: a nice balance between listening to him breathing and my raptured air. He got comfy as his legs went into cranium-crush mode. Lots of ideas for future extended holds...

Time was short, but looking forward to round II. Wondering in what state that'll be?

Genuinely genial and all-around-polite, this slightly under the radar opponent provided a relaxing Saturday-night-at-the-Fest meetup.

Working with the circumstances, this was a no-problem-o "let me show you some great holds" exchange – minus the exchange. ;) I always welcome any opportunity to watch a guy's eyes pop when I crucifix him. TVPF stayed in that one until his arms started to lose feeling. With his cranium dangling over the edge of the bed, this guy was a fan of the standing headscissors/hammer lock combo – rotated both ways. Throw in a bow and arrow then a scissors nelson (slapped on for upwards of ten minutes) and you got yourself a nice weekend coaching session.

Met YVRPro during a 3 way group match during Wrestlefest. He was super nice, fit, and cute on and off the mats. We had a few one and one and 2 vs 1 matches from low to high intensity. I wasn’t able to get him to submit, but will need a rematch to have things end differently next time. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for different style matches and good convo. :)

BackToPro is a great guy to roll with. He’s strong yet not in a way that’s going to damage you. He’s very good at describing and giving direction with holds. He made me feel very comfortable and was accommodating to my lack of skills and wobbly body parts. I can’t wait to meet up with him again. If you get the chance to cross paths with him, I would highly recommend him.

I met Jim at a crazy, wild wrestling event during WrestleFest. He's a friendly guy and didn't hesitate to invite me to wrestle. It didn't last all that long because he was one strong guy. I tried to tie him up with a few holds all of which he escaped and, in the end, got me to submit. I hope our paths cross again. I would like round two

Ruinurabs and I have been friends for approximately 30 years, but for one reason or another we never had the opportunity to square off in any sort of match until yesterday, when I met up with him and his boyfriend for a three-way gut punching session. It started with Ruinurabs pounding on me and his BF, but I didn't last very long: he isn't a big guy, but man does he know how to punch HARD. This guy is skilled and powerful, and my abs felt the punishment immediately (and still feel it today). Thankfully we then moved to a 2 on 1 on his BF, which put me back in my typical role of puncher (rather than punchee), which was immense fun. After we were done punishing his sexy BF, the three of us spent some really nice social time at lunch. Ruinurabs is not just a talented punisher of midsections, but a really good guy as well. Anyone who wants to experience this sort of workover should find their way to him pronto - he's the best.

I met Timber for the first time when he came to San Diego with his BF, Ruinurabs, who I've been friends with for more than 30 years. We got together for a 3-way gut punching session, where his BF (and eventually also I) worked Timber over hard. Timber is both sweet and sexy as a person, and as a taker of punches is pretty darned remarkable. His BF is one of the hardest pounders I know (or know of), and I was putting pretty substantial force into my shots, and Timber took it all really well (and looked hot AF while doing it), no matter what position we put him in. He can handle some serious punishment, especially for a guy as lean as he is. I had enormous fun working him over (or holding him for his workover), and even more fun spending a few social hours with him afterward at lunch. I recommend him highly if you want to test yourself against a very durable and sexy punchee.
