It was a great pleasure to meet this very sincere young wrestler who traveled a long way for our match. He is wonderfully friendly, so easy to chat with, and great company generally,but above all he is a joy to wrestle - he just keeps on going and coming back for more!
He is obviously picking things up fast too, so despite being new on the scene he is well worth wrestling.
Thank you so much for a great time, and I hope to have many more matches in the future.

J’ai passé un très bon moment de lutte avec Mat 74, effectivement les conditions climatiques étaient vraiment extrêmes, nous avons tellement chauffé que l’air extérieur à 38º paraissait frais! C’est un lutteur fort et très résistant aux prises. Malgré mon avantage sur le poids je n’ai pas réussi à le faire abandonner. En dehors de la lutte c’est aussi quelqu’un de très sympathique, facile à rencontrer et avec beaucoup de conversation intéressante. Il parle très bien français si vous êtes français et que les langues étrangères c’est pas votre truc! Donc si vous croisez son chemin, n’hésitez pas à le rencontrer!

First I met him about 2 years ago, over the years his technique and power definitely grew by a huge margin . He has tremendous strength and stamina. Sweaty and competitive session. A definite must meet for his generous hospitality. Will look forward to meet him soon.

Had a great time with hedloker_uk, he was nice enough to host our match and looked after me throughout. He is super friendly on and off the mats chatting lots with him between rounds. He taught me all sorts of fun moves and escapes, passing on some of his wide wrestling knowledge! If I didn't have the weight advantage he would have crushed me. Thank you very much for the great meet and hope to see you again soon.

On my trip to Orlando, I had the great pleasure oh fight this incredible guy.
Extremely Competitive with strength, technique and outstanding host.
He welcomed me into his house as if he were a goog friend.
When visiting Orlando, do not forget to invite him to a fight.

He says he lacks power in his hits, but he more than makes up for it in spunk and heart. He will take a beating and keep coming back for more. Definitely look forward to our next meeting!

Edit 1:
So we have a few meetings now, and have to say I have no complaints. He shows heart and determination, even in the face of stronger opponents. Also if you are looking to condition your abs, he will most definitely help!

Also if you ever do a one way fight with him, better watch out! He will really get into it, and leave you good and marked up!

Summer, 2019. Spent some time again with the inimitable Viking while he was in London and he is stronger than ever. His much-vaunted scissors are remarkable - creative and inescapable. Once he has you clamped in place you don't get out if he doesn't want you to. His English is, of course, faultless. Or almost: he does just need to check on the correct dictionary definition of "variegated". A good friend - to many! - and thoroughly deserving of his fine reputation.

Update: April 2018. Some of the best, strongest wrestlers in the UK and elsewhere queue up to meet this superb guy but he still found time to meet me for chat, a meal and the application of a few holds with the famed Viking legs. He is such a nice guy, so strong, so skilled, a generous and loyal friend. What more could one ask? The greatest (to coin a phrase)!

Update: April, 2017. The very best offered by our excellent site: a superb, strong wrestler who becomes a real friend. We continue to exchange messages, often many times a week, and chat about anything and everything, from the serious to the frivolous and back again. Skype too. We meet in person ... and it is as if we last met in person just yesterday. GrappleViking is clever, articulate, interesting, thoughtful - oh yes, and mighty strong (rightly, endearingly, proud of the invincible thighs!). Just a thoroughly nice guy: no wonder everyone wants to meet him, from iron curtain oligarchs right up to weedy older guys like me!

Autumn, 2016: This handsome young Norwegian is amazing! His English is humblingly good. We hit it off immediately, quickly becoming firm friends, and have exchanged many messages, chatting easily and enjoyably about anything and everything. We were finally able to meet when he came to Manchester for John C's November meet. GrappleViking is very strong (given the chance he will make you submit in about one second flat in his legs!) but he is always safe and considerate of his opponent. A charming, fun, cultured guy with a very mature head on his young shoulders. Recommended without the slightest hesitation.

What a stud. We had a hotel match while I was in NYC. This dude knows his stuff. We had a really fun fluid match, lots of back and forth. He knows how to push limits in a safe and fun way. I was supposed to be selling the pain, but at times I couldn't stop grinning, I was having such a blast with this guy. The match was the perfect combination of pleasure, pain, ego, testing of strength, punishment and just plain fun. I promise you will not be disappointed with this one.

After wrestling I had the pleasure to go out on the town with this stud. We had such a blast. I don't remember the last time I was out so late having fun. Don't miss an opportunity to wrestle this guy!

This review is long overdue... I wrestled with sweet two summers ago.. we had a long wrestling match with tons of body contact and tight holds. It was awesome... and I hope to do it again! Highly recommended!

Total wrestling stud! We met for a hotel match and I was immediately impressed by his thick beefy pro heel look. We locked up and were soon in a struggle for dominance ina heel vs heel promission bout. He took a ton of punishment from me and gave as good as he got. He suffered beautifully in all the holds I put him in and proved himself to be a sadistic heel when he got the upper hand, pushing me to my limits but keeping it safe and sane. The match was intense and the hours flew by, neither of us wanting to admit defeat!

I was lucky enough to share dinner with Matt and go out on the town. Off the mats he is one of the sweetest most charming guys you will ever meet. I really had a blast!

I can't recommend Matt highly enough. If you get an opportunity to wrestle this guy you should jump on it! Looking forward to taking him on in the ring someday so we can really go to town!
