03/11/2018: Itʼs great to have the fight machine that is Solidman back on MeetFighters, and even better to have got a rematch in with him, thanks to DaveLonʼs generous support! The outcome of the match was never in any doubt, it was only ever a question of how much punishment I was going to be able to take, and even then Iʼm not kidding myself—if heʼd really wanted to get me to throw in the towel, he could have. The heavy and accurate punching is something else, and is obviously his specialty, but even if grappling only heʼd still make mincemeat of me. It is, therefore, rather a shame for my healthʼs sake that fighting Solidman is such a blast! Super strong, built like earth-moving equipment (heʼs well named), tough and distractingly handsome, fighting him really is quite the experience! But donʼt be put off getting into the ring with him just because heʼs a monster and youʼre going to lose—because heʼs also a very kind, safe, sensible and thoughtful guy, respectful of otherʼs limits, safety, and skill level, and a really lovely and interesting person. So take your chance to fight him if youʼre lucky enough to get it! 👍 The very highest of recommendations.
10/05/2019: Well hereʼs a turn up for the books! The Fight Machine is turning his hand to grappling, and forgoing his speciality punching and strikes. Does this mean I have the inkling of a chance to get a sub off him?? Erm, no.... 😂

Had a great match with this newcomer on my layover in Tucson. Though he does not have any wrestling experience he seemed to be a natural at it. Very hard to get him off you once he gets on top. Luckily for me I was able to use my legs to get my submissions. Give this guy a few more matches or some training and he's going to be good. Cant wait for round two and a def rec for anyone in the central to southern Arizona area.

Bart is a blackbelt judo, a real martial art teacher. I was aware about it before meeting him, so I was excited and in the same time a little intimidated to share the mats with him at his beautiful houseplace. Fighting a master for a learner like me is always a pleasure and a occasion to exploit. During our fight I was more concentrated on his movements and schemes than mine. His technical level is very high (It goes without saying) and I hope being able to absorb something by my.... teacher. Out of mats Bart is a very gentle and friendly person. He was so kind to come collecting me by car in the center town and back after match. Very recommeded for fighters of any level, from totally beginner to the most experienced.

Update 15/05/19
After more chats finally arranged a meet to wrestle Barraboy and I can tell you it was well worth the wait.
From the moment we stepped onto the mats it was a fun match with plenty of banter, back and forth action and a real great time.
Don't be fooled when he says he's not that good, natural strength and skills make him a formidable opponent who will test you but totally safe and sane. As I mentioned before he's a great guy to sit and chat with, friendly, fun and a proper geezer. Highly recommended.
Here's to the rematch!!

Had arranged a long overdue match with Barraboy which sadly we had to cancel due to work commitments. However I did manage to meet him for a coffee and a catch up and I'm so glad I did.
We've been bantering back and forth for ages and it made it so easy to relax and chat with such a great guy.
We have agreed to reschedule as soon as possible when my recommendation will also include more about how our wrestle goes but for now I am happy to encourage anyone to contact Barraboy. He's a genuinely nice guy and I'm so looking forward to wrestling him soon.

I had some very memorable matches with Ftlfightr back when he lived in Chicago. They were really aggressive sweaty hot and fun. He’s a really great guy and a skilled fighter. I can’t wait to take on this stud again. Highest recommendation!

Even though our match came to an unexpected and abrupt ‘ceasefire’ (the wrestling just got a bit too rough…unintended) our rounds before that abrupt ending were challenging, to say the least.
What to say about Mat74?
First of all his amazing stamina comes to mind, that with his ability and endurance to wriggle his way out of even the most difficult positions….no, he never gives up.
Be careful, once he frees himself from a hold he is very very fast to reverse the roles.
From experience I know that his favorite hold is the chockehold and it is one he executes to perfection…I found that out the hard way (several times).
Mat74 is quick and lean, has built up a lot of experience and combines strategy with a natural knack for the sport.
Despite the rather painfull ending of our match (witch was unintended and unforseen, but accidents will happen) Mat74 plays safe and sane, he goes with the flow and is a joy to wrestle.
Off the matts it was a joy to talk to this very intelligent man about a myriade of topics.
I for one look forward to his next visit to Belgium and/or my visit to Italy.

It was a true pleasure of meeting Matteo at my wrestling place today. Skilled in BJJ our fight was of high technical level which was a lot of fun.

Japanda is a very nice guy who stays in touch and is easy to make arrangements with. On the mat he is a strong competitor, with great pecs and biceps. He looks amazing in speedos! Unfortunately a slight injury cut our match short, but that means we will have to meet again for a more complete session. That thought makes me happy, and you will also be happy to wrestle Japanda.

AbsMashR and I go way back, he's a super nice guy and we have had some hot, intense and sweaty sessions. For every minute I was on top and in control he turned the tables on me and spent the same amount of time punishing me strong holds. He's an intuitive wrestler, and the first time we met he came at me hard, he knew how to reposition and lock me up! Second time we locked up, I used my legs and scissored him, finally squeezing out a submission. We didn't know at the time but it turned out he cracked a rib durning our session, yet he still finished the match - what a stud! Very nice, polite, and reliable too. Definitely connect with AbsMashR if you love a good sweaty bout and he's also into body/gut punching.
