Finally after a long time, meeting the gentleman that is Ben Monaco. A strong wrestler with a solid strong bearhug, strong legs and a nagging punch. ;)
In this match with a major weight difference , he still was able to get a true 5 submissions out of me. But his massive build was a great target for my claws. In which he was quite resistant to them. He was great to wrestle with since he was not intimidated by my size. A true solid wrestler that i admire and respect.
Always fun and can't wait to meet again.

I agree with what said previously in all recommendations here. Very skilled and nice guy with who you could have fun with for ages... a pity he had to take the train... Really looking forward for our next encounter....

wow what a hot sweaty wrestle we had, while I was on transit in Zurich. we went at it for nearly 2.5 hours, drenched , clenched, and sexy, we had an awesome time, wrest quest is completely reliable, looks hot, and is pretty strong !. he is also a very very friendly guy who managed to take me to see lake Zurich in spite of the very short time I had left..
I wish I could stay my friend, ah well next time..

After a long time chatting with this big bear, he finally showed me how well he masters the clawholds đ don't be fooled by his gentle nature, if he wants to make you squirm in a hold, he will! Add to that, his significant weight advantage and you'll be in for a tough fight đ overall great match, hit him up when you're within the reach of his bear paws đ»

De son ßle de beauté , à dix milles lieux ;
LâĂąme dĂ©terminĂ©e et lâĆil tout affĂ»tĂ© ;
Le corps et le muscle sont secs et ciselés ;
Ps : good luck to Google translate for that stuff lol and in brief do not miss him ! A+ opponent , highly recommended

Rematch 16th September: vs. IRLGuy + LockDown.
âŠAnd they say fortune favours the brave. I wrestled LockDown the third time, and IRLguy for the first time earlier this summer. Both, to varying degrees, got the better of me. Today, I faced them both. I knew it was going to be hard. What I didnât know was just how shattered Iâd be afterwards!
At first they tagged, and while I was able to get the upper hand with LockDown, I struggled more with IRLguy who proved stronger and much more resistant than I had expected. Even so, I was ahead with LockDown and level with IRLguy.
And then they double-teamed me. I held them off for as long as I could (and even scored one more sub) but being denied any rest throughout, only had so much gas left in the tank. Then they repeatedly steamrolled me into submission. Leg locks, tight sleepers, super fierce abs-bashing and even a cruel camel courtesy of LockDown, this pair of fine heels â complete with gleams and grins most evil â broke me down. If you were to ask them, I think theyâd say their biggest achievement was silencing my witty quips â which they achieved in ways Iâll leave to your imagination.
The wrestle was tremendous fun; I canât remember the last time my body endured such torture in every way. LockDown continues to improve and sharpen his technique, and IRLguy is in his element when in control â which even during 1v1, was the case more often than not. Everyone should wrestle them; cracking guys. Fortune did not favour the brave today â it waltzed on right by.
Match 3, 8th July
LockDown has become one of my favourite opponents and today as we finally had the 3rd and decisive round in our promission competition.
Iâll just say it â he got the better of me. I could blame a host of reasons as to why, but thatâs all noise. After a wobbly, start I carved out a lead. It wasnât enough.
I got some pleasing holds on him and it seems some of the strength Iâve lost has returned (launching LockDown airborne wasnât a struggle). But they were dry spots in an otherwise sea of lethal promission holds he put me through.
Towards the end, when he asked me rhetorically, mid-hold, the name of the back-bending hold he was crippling me with, we both knew the match was his, even before I submitted to the bow and arrow. There wasnât a whole lot I could do after that and with what seems little effort on his part, he took the win of the bout and the 3-part contest with a string of other punishers and a confident poise.
Match 2, Sunday 3rd December.
Lockdown and I finally rematched today. Having held him off comfortably last time for the win, albeit with a good few submissions from me to him, I felt reasonably confident of the same again.
Lockdown has leaned up a bit and looks even better than before. He's also picked up a good amount since last time. Conversely, I've not wrestled much and am somewhat rusty due to the break I've taken. Foolishly, I put in a tough gig at the gym yesterday too.
Plenty of give and take; Lockdown has a fantastic mindset and fighting outlook. He looks the part and whilst very lively, is also keen to enjoy the struggle as well. Having lost my last couple of matches, I was happy to be facing a previous opponent who Iâd already beaten, to get back on a winning track, and was quite sure this would be the case.
Different outcome this time though - Lockdown's improved abilities and at times quite controlling nature in a wrestle prevailed and he scored his revenge, making it 1-1 to date in overall wins. At some points he had me locked up in holds I've never come across before. No idea if he invented them as he went or learned them but regardless, I wasn't able to escape or to prevent a quite resounding win for Lockdown.
Fantastic guy and highly recommended - he'll give most a worthy challenge. Well played, mate.
First match.
Credit to LockDown - we arranged this meet up super quickly and quite last minute. From a planning point of view it couldn't have been easier.
Pleasant and easy to get on with he may be, but beneath that softly-spoken exterior lurks a natural wrestler in the making. What LockDown lacks in experience he makes up for in knowledge of certain holds and he is incredibly inventive with his legs. Most of all though, he is a terrific guy: erudite and considerate; polite and reliable. If a mid-tempo promission race is your thing, step right up - with a slightly evil glint in his eye, he'll be waiting for you!

First match 15th July.
When IRLguy called me out, I didnât give it much thought at first. But then seeing how his amicable tussle with OliLifting went down, I was intrigued. Very quickly I rose to the bait (my first mistake).
IRLguy is equally nice to look at as he is to listen to (my second mistake). When we kicked off, he was, unsurprisingly, fairly easy to control and right on cue, as I had him locked down, my trash talk commenced (my third mistake).
His methods may be unorthodox, but very early on I found myself unable to utilise the clear advantages I have on paper, which only served to encourage IRLguy to seriously start grinding me down. By the time I clicked what he was up to, and realised I had no defence to offer against his tactics, it was too late.
The more I was challenged back, the less I challenged back; the more I was worked over, the less I desired the win. Somehow, in ways Iâve yet to fully wrap my head around, IRLguy drained my will to win, making his win as complete as it was unstoppable. He came at me with a plan and the satisfaction swimming across his face was unmistakable as he witnessed me fall prey to the very trap he had promised to spring on me in the run-up to our match. Could I have powered out? Sure. But when the time came, I didn't want to and he knew it. That's when it occurred to me what his âsecret weaponâ was and when he targeted me in its crosshairs, I was found wanting, with no choice but to succumb.
I have wrestled and beaten bigger guys than he, more skilled wrestlers than he. Yet rarely have I lost so comprehensively. He outsmarted me and continued pressing his advantage, even after I had submitted.
âMy opponent is my trophy,â he had boasted a few days ago when I didnât take him seriously. He showed me that was my final mistake after the match ended and wasted no time in taking what we had agreed would go to the winner.
Much of all his was a new experience for me, but I can honestly say that losing to a canny opponent has never been so enjoyable. Humble pie is never tasty but I was happy to eat it and would be equally as happy to do so again for him. IRLguy is an awesome guy. Nothing but the highest recommendation from me and very much looking forward to seeing him again. Gents, as far as Iâm concerned we have a new alpha and if youâre lucky, youâll see exactly what I mean for yourself.
