The Wrestler:

SeattleFight is a solid man in every sense: Physically, he is a wall of muscle; mentally, he is a man of the world with fascinating and intelligent conversation; and in wrestling his strength, stamina and technique are very challenging to overcome. He might have squashed me in wrestling this time but I already warned this man that I will return more prepared and skilled to fight for revenge ;)

Through my interaction with SeattleFight and several other wrestlers during WrestleFest Toronto, I appreciated that this man is a wrestling icon in MF not only for his great fighting skills, but also for his open and personable character that makes him the popular kid in high school that everyone wants to be close to, and the friend that you want by your side to face the good and the bad moments.

The Match:

During WrestleFest Toronto I had the opportunity to confront SeattleFight in a brief open mats session and in a longer 1:1 match. In the two rounds during open mats I was able to experience the strength and resistance of this man. My attacks were futile and I found myself submitted and pinned under the strength of this powerful wrestler. I wanted to have more time to grapple with SeattleFight to prove that I could do better and luckily he had an opening to meet. During the long match I had a chance to once again experience his wrestling skills and also enjoyed integrating body and abs punching, which made the wrestling session even hotter. His resistance to punches and stamina to keep wrestling until exhaustion is remarkable. At the end of the session we were just fighting in puddles of sweat and continued wrestling and punching until we agreed to stop to have food and enjoy some conversation. What a wonderful experience was to meet this man on and off the mats. Until the next time SeattleFight!

GrappleViking and I have been chatting for a number of years. We have come close to crossing paths prior to today but our schedules did not align until we both landed in Toronto for Wrestlefest. This long awaited match was well worth the wait! This guy is an athlete!! His pictures do not do justice for the tree trunks he has for legs. He brings solid grappling skills and a toughness to the match that made it so much fun and a sweaty challenge. Be aware he doesn’t not tap easily! Off the mats, he is a genuinely nice guy with a quick wit. I enjoyed our battle and hope for another at some point! If this guy reaches out, do not pass up the opportunity to wrestle him! He gets my highest recommendation!

Met up with liteguynyc for a chill back and forth submission match at wrestlefest. There were plenty of scissors and some unique submission holds. You won't meet a nicer guy on and off the mats.

Met up with Matwix for a quick match between events at wrestlefest. A responsive, reliable and strong opponent with a great body.

Was staying down in ldn for a previous fight and decided to take on Fireblt for round two. He’s respectable, kind, and doesn’t go down easily. Really knows his way around a man’s body and how to make them work harder. Left him with a few battle scars but it was all mutual in the end. Would happily do it all again and I highly recommend him for any future fights :)

I am long overdue in writing this recommendation: I saw Scrapper02 at an open mat event in New York City a couple of years ago. I was a bit too timid to ask him for a roll. I mean, he's so handsome and all. But he asked me to roll and I couldn't say no to that! Scrapper02 has the level of experience where he is methodical and knows how to give me opportunities to learn for myself without providing *too* much resistance. He's well-controlled and commanding, making what could have been an off-kilter match feel fair and rewarding for me. We've rolled since then at other open mats and he's precise in describing areas of improvement, which definitely helps me as someone still relatively new to BJJ. I have a feeling I'll see him again soon in New York, and I look forward to sharing more mat time.

Met with MKEwb and I got schooled, in the best sense of the word. He is an experienced Jiu Jitsu fighter with the size and strength of pro-wrestler. His rec's are legit. During the match, he gave me pointers and showed a lot of the JJ techniques. I have a deeper appreciation of the martial art now. MKEwb is also a great guy – setting up our match was a breeze and he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet here.

I really enjoyed my match with liteguynyc. He's another long, lean wrestler who can pack a punch.

After stripping down to our Speedos and enjoying some pre-match flexing, it was time to fight, and he did not disappoint! There was plenty of struggle and strain as we wrestled, neither of us wanting to tap. I enjoyed watching his hot physique flail as I crushed him with painful headscissors, but on the flipside, he was able to punish me with grapevines, full-body pins, and other holds. Our bodies were both drenched in sweat within minutes, given the warm summer temperatures, which only added to the experience.

Between falls, the conversation was really fun too, as we talked about past matches, shared interests, and more. Highly recommended if you get a chance to lock up with liteguynyc

My first match at Wrestlefest Toronto was this hot frottage match where we both rubbed bodies and crotches together till we exploded. Hot times.

Chatted with this guy before the fest. So glad we were able to meet 👍 he was hot and dominant 🥵 pinning me and showing me who was in charge. Would definitely be down for a rematch with him!
