Very fun match with this strong, experienced grappler. Limited in our ability to let loose without a real mat, but we were able to have a strenuous workout nonetheless. Loved putting him in long, strong holds and taunting him to get out! Great conversation too, classy guy with years of wrestling stories. Can't wait to wrestle him down on a mat....soon!

Great guy! Lots of strength and skill for his size. Don’t underestimate him. With a bit more training and experience, he will be a force to be reckoned with.

After a long time chatting and planning I finally got to meet this travelling Canadian at Pippas. He'd had a number of matches over the days leading up to ours so was feeling the effects - and showing the bruises - of them. Once in the ring though you have thought him fully fresh. Active and challenging we rolled well - another flexible guy! He uses his legs more whereas I'm an arm guy so an interesting combination though I had the edge on strength which helped me. Great fun. Exchanged a few tips on arm work which will give him more options.

Post match great company too. I took him around some of my favourite watering holes while we chatted about all sorts.

Sound bloke for making arrangements and timing for the big battle. Also likes the pre-match build-up and lives up to his brawler nom de guerrre. So a fighter's instinct, which is always welcome. Nice guy off the mats too though he battles hard in the ring and took what I dished out. Also man enough to fight back and reluctant to give in.
Due to travel and work commitments we didn't have much time to chill and chat after the fight.
He's a Brit-pro and promission guy with a passion for that genre.
I'll claim bragging rights, but won't rub it in here as it was a good brawl. But message me if you want to hear how Celtwrestle controlled most of the bout and - in this match at least - is the champ. (Brawler, of course, disputes this - so the Aussie can have a rematch fot the title. You should have a go too.

The fight was intense, sweaty and perfect mix of competitive and fun. I used all my power trying to destroy him but he was indestructible.

A heavyweight intellectually, tenatious, incredibly focused, technically sound and creative even back in the 2000s . . . Long story short: Huge recommendation!

10 XI 2017: Today I was audited by a BJJ blue belt. The result confirms my profile statement: My technique officially sucks. The magnitude of my cluelessness did surprise me. Usually I am able to compensate these shortcomings with flexibility, sturdiness, stamina and sheer willpower. Not this time. I literally ran out of steam after an hour or so. It was so fascinating, I very much enjoyed the ordeal and only hope I did not bore him. And I herewith recertify the HUGE recommendation.

I got to wrestle eastcheshireguy at Pippa’s November 9/17. We had been planning and anticipating this match for months and it certainly lived up to all expectations.He is very strong and knowledgeable and looks amazing in a singlet and speedos. We worked up a real sweat and there were a lot of submissions....almost all of them mine! I’ve been to Manchester a number of times but, after the match, he led me on a pub crawl of places I never knew existed. This guy is a great guy to spend time with, both in and out of the ring.He also does a great massage. It was an incredible day. Definitely recommended!

After years of chatting, finally got to meet up for a match. Was a fun promission match. He is stronger than he looks, as I quickly learned. Lots of fun moves and holds. Can't wait for round 2.

I’m lucky I got to meet up with this guy while he was in town. Had a great time wrestling (competitive and just roughing around). He’s so humble in conversation, but I’ll tell you now, he is pretty damn good... Especially for someone who just picked this up a short while ago. Off the mats, total gentleman and great personality. An impressive wrestler and a blast to meet up with. You guys definitely will want a match with this one! Thumbs up!
