Recommendations

I had an amazing time with Golden Retriever. He was super communicative before our match and a very gracious host during. He has a really nice setup of mats to roll around on. You can feel how strong and skilled he is: one of those skills is also adjusting to his opponent's level of experience. I felt safe throughout and had a lot of fun. He also taught me a couple of moves. Overall, rolling around with him was fantastic, so much so that we have another match set up in a couple of days! I also recommend him 1000%; he's very easy on the eyes and very easy to talk to during and after the match. If you're in Utah, you can't pass up a chance to roll around with this stud 💪

This guy is a beast!! I recommend everyone take him on as he can give n take punishment like nobody else.

The Wrestler:

MKell is the next level of wrestling! If classy, clean and tough wrestling could be combined and personified, they would take the shape of MKell. A quiet, composed and observant individual that I’m certain is capable of crushing most wrestlers. I got to see and feel his intensity and strength. His attacks start in the most relaxed manner and in a millisecond you can find yourself in the most troublesome and calculated hold with no escape possible. What a pleasure it was to experience a match with MKell who in addition to being the best wrestler I’ve encountered so far was an attentive and gracious host. He defined for me the standard of wrestling to aspire to. An individual that doesn’t need a recommendation. An individual that one can only be lucky to cross paths with.

The Match:

This match has been my greatest challenge in wrestling since I joined MF a few months ago. Throughout the fight I found myself at moments where all could do was to try to endure the holds thinking of every possible alternative to escape or shift my uncomfortable position, and yet everything I tried was in vain. MKell, however, without conceding even a bit, was carefully watching my movements making sure that I wasn’t hurt, yet pushing me to my limits. This match has shown me the possibilities of what an extremely intense match can be and has also been a motivator to continue improving my wrestling skills. A memorable match this was that I hope to experience again in the future with this fantastic wrestler.

Loved rolling with this handsome stud. Spent most of it trading out favorite holds and had a blast. Super sweet man and such a great panic/evil laugh he has 😈. Can't wait for an opportunity to lock up again.

Haha I dunno what to say really. Great guy and I had no idea what I was getting myself into before I realized I had zero chance of getting this beast to tap. He completely dominated and controlled.the match, but it was still good fun and could he was holding back. Would definitely roll again with this hunk.

After scheduling twice and both being canceled by me and after many years of waiting to meet, it finally happened. I was able to release all of my heel tendencies on this gentleman and although he resisted, the resistance was futile. The trash talk was especially trashy, which surprised even me. And my headlocks and scissors were executed bringing him to submission, yet he kept coming back for more. All in all, it was a great wrestling meeting of multiple matches to be remembered for quite some time.

In all seriousness, he is a real gentleman. Handsome. A man of great intelligence. Musically talented with a pleasant singing voice. And he can weave a story that will hold your attention until the very end. He should be on everyone's list to meet. You will be entertained on many levels.

Same time. Next year. I hope.

The Wrestler:

Le Chat Q is fun. Period. Behind his great smile is a man who knows his wrestling. Kind enough to teach what he knows about grappling, yet strong enough to demonstrate what he is capable of. He purposefully graduated the intensity of his wrestling abilities starting from low and testing and teaching me as he slowly increased the level of the match intensity. This made me feel safe throughout the match while we tried different holds and escapes as this wrestler carefully explained what I could do better. This man is very interesting, a great person that is so warm an open that he makes you feel like you’ve known him for years. Meet Le Chat Q if you can!

The Match:

This was not only a fun match but also a great learning experience. The match was pretty dynamic as Le Chat Q constantly changed the positions and holds to keep the fight flowing without getting stuck in one place and to let me try moves that he would then explain how to apply properly. We didn’t have too much space to wrestle but we made the most of it and it was truly enjoyable. I would love to have a rematch with this fighter!

It was a pleasure to lock up with LeeLocks during wrestlefest in Toronto. In the weeks leading up to our match, he checked in through messages and we agreed to a competitive submission grappling match. LeeLocks’ muscle and strength complement his eclectic martial arts background. While he may be newer to submission grappling and wrestling, he is not new to combative sports. He brings a competitive spirit and intensity to the mats which makes for a tough and fun workout. I appreciate his interest in learning and eagerness to improve as a grappler. He is tough and resilient on the mats; he made our workout on the mats tough and enjoyable.

Off the mats, LeeLocks is a smart, thoughtful and genuinely nice guy. He is easy to converse with and is committed to making the workout fun and safe for everyone. I look forward to seeing LeeLocks continue his grappling journey and highly recommend folks reach out and challenge him!
