Recommendations

25/04/2017: Great to have such an easy to arrange match for a change: 48 hours later and we're throwing each other around the Grove Park ring, keeping warm on a cold April night. TigerWizard's a keen, very strong and sensibly stubborn wrestler, so we had a good tussle and he really made me work to take any subs off him, powering his way out of many attempts. Between subs he's a chatty and outgoing chap, easy to talk to and knowledgeable about our great sport. Highly recommended and hopefully a rematch will be on the cards soon.
09/09/2017: A change of venue for an unexpected but very welcome rematch against TigerWizard, this time at the Wrestling Factory in Ancoats for John's Manchester Meet 21. Again the big powerhouse used his strength to make it difficult to get anything off him, and again we had an intense sweaty battle. Hopefully only the second of many tussles.

FresLuchador is a formidable opponent. He is extremely strong and built, and will definitely have no problem flexing his strength on you. He looks amazing in his gear. On the mats, he's one tuff opponent, and you'll have to keep up with him or get owned. Off the mats, he's a really nice guy and amazing to talk to. We have wrestled two times already and I look forward to many more times. I recommend him for anyone who's looking for a real opponent!

Heterosp was fun to meet up with! He is great and highly recommend him!

13/05/2017: It was excellent to get a match in with this well named and experienced wrestler on the main mats at John's meet at Pippa's. My extra bulk kept me out of trouble, but this is a guy who clearly knows his stuff, both submission and freestyle, and with his height and startling flexibility he was a real handful to keep under control. Do not relax against him, he has the ability to bring his legs up and over and hook you out of the way from practically anywhere. Safe, sane and friendly and a pleasant and interesting guy to chat to between subs too. Hope to get a rematch in with him soon.
09/09/2017: John's Manchester Meet 21 provided the opportunity for the rematch versus this quality opponent back at the Wrestling Factory, so of course I took it! As startlingly flexible as ever, it was again a huge amount of fun, and hopefully only the second of many tussles. Highly recommended.

Weholooker is really a fun heel - I always enjoy the times we have heel/job together. He's a great conversationist and I look forward every time he's in the area.

09/04/2016: After being at a couple of Manchester meets with hedloker uk now, I finally managed to get a match with him on the main mats at the OWG meet. He's not necessarily that keen on wrestling lardarses like me, which might explain why it's taken a while to be able to get a match with him, but don't think that that means that he's an easy beat for a heavier guy: quite the opposite, hedloker uk knows his stuff, and was in control throughout most of our match. It was particularly refreshing to wrestle a guy into freestyle [proper wrestling!] after a day of nothing but submission grappling. Hedloker uk is a safe wrestler on the mats and an interesting, pleasant and personable guy off them. Definitely someone to wrestle again and again and I hope that we will.
09/09/2017: John's Manchester Meet 21 provided an opportunity for another crack at hedlocker uk at the Wrestling Factory, so of course I took it! He really is superbly skilled and in superb shape and if I wasn't so much heavier than him he would completely destroy me. As it is we have some good, even, sweaty, back-and-forth battles and I have a ball doing so. Hopefully I will get a lot more mat time with him.

This guy is a beast. I thought my recent training would have made a difference but unfortunately i got owned. Off the mats a nice guy but a monster in the ring. Highest of recommendations.

Just had another very satisfying match with this handsome guy.
Very effective with his head scissors, dragon sleepers and smothers...
Managed to put some hurts on him but he doesn't put up with it for long....great guy on and off the mats ;)
