Recommendations

Nothing planned. We literally ran into each other on my way to check in hotel at 8am on Michigan ave. Hotel was nice to let me check in early. So we made this match, which both of us thought was not going to happen, happen. Due to limited time, we had a 30 minutes match. However, he made me tap like 8 times and gave me tons of punishment. He has nothing to prove. But definitely, he is the king on the mat.

Thankfully the stars aligned and things worked out for a match the few hours we were both in Chicago at the same time. Bruce is a nice guy and a lot of fun on the mats. He can take a lot of punishment and is pretty strong. Definitely recommend him.

I had a great time wrestling bull cop. He's a super great guy period he's punctual, reliable, strong and fit. Had a blast rolling with him and look forward to another chance on the mats. Off the mats he's quite an interesting Gent period kind and generous

Heute zum zweiten Mal getroffen mit besserer Umgebung. Es ist schon so viel über ihn geschrieben worden :-) und er ist ein sehr netter und starker Kerl! Hatbsehr viel Spaß gemacht! Und immer ein freundliches lächeln...

One of my fav big guys to demolish. he's a nice guy, asked if i could take it light so he would have enough energy for his next match later in the day, i said hell no i'm gonna beat you even harder. still wasn't able to rack him, but i will get there next time

Zwirnie ist ein mega sympatischer und verlässlicher Gegner. Er fightet mit viel Engagement und gibt sich nicht so leicht geschlagen. Er hat eine gute Technik und ist auch für die ein oder andere Spielerei super ausgestattet 😀
Auch außerhalb der Matte spitze. Wir treffen uns garantiert jetzt öfters.

Had a great match with this brut. Big muscle, strong, and skilled - I had my hands full. A perfect afternoon match set up in minutes - can't beat that. Great guy on and off the mats - don't miss an opportunity to fight him.

I've been wrestling Torrnado for quite a few years, winning some and losing some! But yesterday when I took him on in a competitive submission match I would have to say he was probably as strong and fit as he's ever been. He looks really good in his gear, and is lightning quick on the mats. A real tough match which lasted an hour, neither of us able to get a submission, until near the end when I managed to body scissor him twice! He knows how to defend well and has a very strong upper body, and can apply really good holds. He says he will slow it down due to his age, but I don't think he will....he's just too good a wrestler and isn't afraid to take on bigger guys. Great guy off the mats as well to have meal/drink/chat with....especially when he is paying as forfeit for losing the wrestling match😉

La lucha con Armando fue magnífica. El es un hombre muy fuerte y sabe contrarrestar bien los ataques. Nuestra lucha estuvo llena de fuerza viril, sudor y muy buena camaradería. Fuera de la lucha Armando es una excelente persona, culto, educado, amistoso, respetuoso y guapo. Lo recomiendo mucho para que luchen con él.

In the six years I have had the pleasure of knowing and wrestling NI he just gets stronger, more skilled and more confident each time we hit the mats.
In the early days my greater experience allowed me to get the better of this fit, good looking lad. Always safe and sane, over time he has used his acquired knowledge of defence and submission holds to turn the tables on this old veteran!
Yesterday on the mats at Pippas we grappled for 40 minutes with no score until my advancing years caught up with me and I had to submit twice in rapid succession to his crushing body scissors. I shall remember his cocky victory pose for a long time and with great humility!
Underestimate this guy at your peril !
Off the mats he is great company and as ever we enjoyed chatting and exchanging good humoured banter over a few bevvies and a good meal.
