All kudos to DenverWrestler. After making accommodations for my having fewer skills and physical ability, he provided me with an enjoyable wrestling match to test my healing body. Although I would like to believe it was my skills that caused him to break a sweat and gasp for air, I know it was the Rocky Mountain man's lack of adjustment to Georgia's thicker air and high humidity. Afterward, we enjoyed great conversation and Brunswick Stew. An all around alright kinda guy that many of you can confirm. Wrestle with this man when you have the chance!

My initial worries about taking on this big, imposing fella in a submission match were quickly dispelled when we locked up. He could have used his 102lbs weight advantage to just squash me, but didn't, and our match flowed nicely back and forth. Warkscub explained that he was more at home with pro wrestling in the ring but nevertheless he was an enthusiastic grappler on the mats and made me work up a sweat.
Off the mats he is a thoroughly nice chap, a gentle giant. I highly recommend him.

I very much enjoyed the challenge of wrestling Mackmesub, even though I was giving away 62lbs! He is a well set up guy who is strong, determined and a more experienced than he gives himself credit for. We worked up a good sweat with multiple subs being scored on both sides.
Off the mats he has an easy going demeanour and I recommend you meet him.

It is very good that the Vice knows how to fight, it will be difficult for you, but you will enjoy the struggle and pleasant communication

as steve and i faced up in our trunks for our catchweight bout , we observed that the weight difference wouldnt make for a good bout if i used it to crush him.

i decided to let him take charge and try and fight back which was my first mistake.....hes far more technically skilled and fitter than me and i found myself struggling against this much lighter wrestler....he gave me some coaching when i was in charge versus him, and despite the weight difference we had a couple of really enjoyable bouts

good to talk to and im definitely up for round 2

Warks is taller than he looks in his pics.... the effect of that made me go for it more aggressively and after a near injury we went more pro style which we enjoyed

Hes a gentle giant but with an ability to get stuck in on the mats and was good to talk to

Had a match with Steve at Pippas and can only echo what others have written about this amazing wrestler.
Firstly don't let his age or size fool you or put you off wrestling him, Steve is incredibly fast, strong, skilled and will test you from the moment you step on the mats or in the ring with him.
That said he's also totally safe, sane and adjusts to his opponent and makes even a one sided match (with me) great fun.
A genuine, friendly guy who I highly recommend!

Had a few bouts with Gary at Pippas and thoroughly enjoyed myself. This guy is a great wrestler, strong, skilled and totally safe. Also adjusted to my skill and style of match for which I'm grateful for as I don't think I could have taken a full on match with him! :-)
Highly recommended for a great bout!

Imper is a very tall and a very strong opponent. though we had just little time to wrestle it was clear that this guy knows whats he's doing and love doing it. he's also extremely nice guy and I loved having him over.

Jonuk is a friendly guy. He shows me some moves and teach me how to apply them. We had a couple of hours trading some moves.

Off the mat, he gives me some advices to explore London since he knows I come to London first time. Definitely someone to recommend.
