Great meet and match with this feisty lightweight guy. We wrestled for an hour and he took a lot of effort to get him to submit. He is determined and likes to get a good head hold to disable you. A really decent down to esrth guy and good company between bouts. Definitely recommend.

Atonman was over from Italy on a short wrestling holiday and an event was set up on Meetfighters so that anyone on the website could sign up to wrestle with him - so Atonman was basically taking on any challnger who turned up - pretty brave of him I think. Not the first time he has come to UK and done that though. I was one of a dozen or so that came along, and Atonman warmly welcomed each us as we arrived and started to strip to our trunks. I think all of us had fought at least one round with Atonman by the end of the afternoon, some several rounds. I fought only one round with Atonman, although I did fight a number of the others as well. When my turn came I was soon overpowered by Atonmans superior strength and skill. I think he got three submissions from me in the three minute round. If I remember correctly two of these were from choke holds round my neck which is not something I have often had to defend against since for the basic wrestling I have done we have mostly agreed not to use chokes, but I guess there is no harm in including chokes as long as the victim is released immediately when he taps. Someone later gave me a tip to defend against chokes, put your hand up to your cheek as if you are picking up a phone, do this just before he chokes you then your forearm will be between your nexk and the arm he is using to choke you, havent yet had time to practice that though! Others gave Atonman a much harder time than I did - Atonman must have fought a lot of rounds by the end of the afternoon and I think he won most of them.

ich hatte letzten Sonnabend ein heisses Match gegen Stringringer.Er ist ein Leichtgewicht und dennoch sehr stark.Er brachte mich an den Rand einer Niederlage.
Es sah auch so aus als hätte er mich im Griff und war knapp davor mich wehrlos zu machen und zu besiegen.Erst zum Ende des Matches gelang es mir ihn dann doch zu überwältigen.ich hoffe und wünsche mir eine Wiederholung

So viel kleiner als ich ist "kleiner Kerl" nicht, so dass der Kampf lange recht ausgeglichen war. Anfangs konnte ich dominieren, aber dann kam ich nicht mehr aus seiner Umklammerung heraus und mußte aufgeben. Ein toller Kampf. Ich habe "kleiner Kerl" dann nochmal herausgefordert und dachte ich hätte eine neue Chance, hatte ihn wieder auf dem Boden fixiert, aber ich war so unaufmerksam, dass er wieder frei kam. Nach zähem Ringen mußte ich mich wieder geschlagen geben. Diesen spannenden Kampf hätte ich gern nochmal wiederholt.

Great match with a great guy. Iowa is a strong guy with good stamina. We had a lot of give and take with some sub holds thrown in during the match. Good ab and pec punches thrown in during the match as well. It was a hot and sweaty muscle on muscle action match. If you get the opportunity to meet up with Iowa, do so. You won't be disappointed.

Really great opponent who was very patient to give me some guidance on my first meet.
Sane and chilled guy with a fit body, a pair of powerful legs and nice nipps.

What a great guy. I can't wait to get back to Seattle to meet him a gain. Very hot, nice body, broad shoulders. Good place to wrestle. If you want to get him fired up, just yank on his ears.

Listen to him when it comes to driving directions. He lives on a very busy street and it's easier to follow his directions that those of your GPS or phone.

Schön, nett und wirklich leicht zu treffen. We missed many opportunities to meet but eventually succeeded to make it and it was really fun. That long awaited guy has a strong body to play with and he is definitely resistant to holds. Don't think you'll win easily. Moreover he's so friendly and adorable that we definitely have to plan a new session. Natürlich!

Great guy! Strong fighter, easy-going, straightforward and reliable, a must-meet if you're in Dublin.

Update: I've met EduardoGutpunch 4 times now and I hope to meet him many times again. Our meets are like the ideal meet should be: easily set up, no hassle, rough on the mats and great banter after.

Though he did sleeper me out once during our second meet (he got lucky) I usually end up winning our matches. Tough and resistant guy though, doesn't tap out when you're hammering his gut, which is good!

Can't wait for our next meet.
