Finally got to roll with Hashbock a couple of times at this year's wrestlefest. Man...this guy know's his stuff on the mats. Despite the size difference he was very careful to show me some important ways to counter and defend holds and also be on the offense and use a succession of moves. Respect his knowledge, experience and friendship more than he knows I'm sure. Highly recommend Hashbock both as a wrestling opponent and one who can help show you the ropes both on and off the wrestling mats. Glad to have made a friend from our wrestling.

Had a brief, but fun match with Akrob at Wrestlefest weekend. Rob was great about doing some gut punching and he knows what he is doing. Had a great match with him and enjoy him both on and off the mats. Very nice guy, my only complaint was that we had to rush it because we both had to check out of motel. Next match we will plan to make it last longer. Can recommend him for a good match.

We have had a rematch after a long time and I can verify he is stronger than when he started. I hope we can have another without such a long wait.

Extranice guy with a lot of potential (more than the thinks) and very willing to learn and improve. To top it, a really funny, ironic and nice guy to talk with.

Great guy and stronger than many guys of his weight. Solid arms and legs and fights until the end. I hope we can have a rematch in a better situation.

Raufbold1976 ist ein sehr sympatischer und angenehmer Gegner der auch ordentlich zupacken kann. Wenn man ihn den kleinen Finger im Kampf reicht nimmt er sich gleich den ganzen Arm. Bei einem Fight mit ihm muss Mann immer auf der Hut sein. Vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen und immer wieder gern.

What a gent, reflected in his recommendation. Squashlad knows how to wrestle, to counter well, to search out the submission. I may have been a little under the weather and sub par, but frankly that wouldn't have changed the result all that much - though I'd like to test that more thoroughly when I'm 100%! Great guy, friendly and competitive.

Allen is a very skilled submission wrestler and even though there was restricted space, could tell that he has outstanding wrestling skills.

In addition, he is a warm, intelligent and friendly guy and glad that I finally met him on his trip to London.

Wrestled him when he won the all-around title in Clash of the Titans back in 2004. He was obviously far more experienced, but still he found the time to wrestle a newbie like me. He was like a Cheshire cat toying with his prey though! :) Overall, a great guy, well-liked by many!

Update: Wrestled him again after 13 years. Again, he totally dominated me, especially with the strongest scissors I have ever encountered. But I coiuldn't help but laugh at his Jekyll-&-Hyde voice! Despite his gravelly trash-talking on the mats, he is a very nice guy off the mats. Highly recommended!

Great guy to wrestle with. Lasted a long time and was not afraid to give and take abuse. Lots of fun!

If great things come in small packages, this handsome and tough young Torito definitely proves the rule! He goes from zero to 100 in a blink of an eye, and was wrapped tightly around me, going for a choke, before I knew what hit me. He doesn’t fully realize how strong he really is—that muscled body and powerful thighs are no joke...getting caught between those thick monsters gets very uncomfortable very quickly! And he does not quit...ever....This made for an exhausting, sweaty, and super fun match. This guy is a real fighter and will put you through everything he knows, every time. Wrestling him was a blast. Off the mats, he is a real charmer, and a charismatic, smart, and thoughtful person. I mean, it’s super difficult not to smile around him...I tried, but it was futile. That’s the kind of guy he is. My highest recommendation!
