Finally getting around to updating this ... I really wish I could pull on the gloves and trunks and climb into the ring with all the boxers on here, I figure I'm past the age where I should be taking punches but I'm to the point that I'll try some light punching, half-power body punching, nothing serious. After two back and neck surgeries several years ago, I'm not into proving anything, except proving that I can be fun in the boxing ring (emphasis on boxing, I don't wrestle or do any other fighting style, don't ask), so I haven't ruled out some light sparring at some point ... I boxed almost 15 years amateur (before you get any ideas, just for full disclosure, it was VERY low-level amateur, all of it when my now-defunct gym club would have a card with other nearby clubs, never anything like Golden or Silver Gloves or any kind of state, regional, etc., stuff). But for right now, I'm just looking to chat boxing, message with other boxers, and share photos and videos. I've done a lot of cyber and role-play boxing online just to keep my interests up, not nearly as good as the real thing but better than nothing, and since I'm a writer by trade I'm pretty good at the cybers – at least that's what I've been told (and I have had a lot of fun with cyber on audio/voice ... don't knock it until you've tried it LOL). And since I mentioned being a writer, I have a lot of boxing-related stories that I've written, a good number of them are on my DeviantArt page under Steely Dan (if you can't find it, shout and I'll send a link).
