I just think it's extremely important to communicate to others any concerns. You and I know, as more mature seniors, that there are much more limits than younger wrestlers. We must roll on a much lighter and different level. Discussing this in depth is imperative! Safe words are much more important now, and respecting limits are primary! That being said, enjoy it as a fun sport we want to continue to experience.

Spot on and to the point. I am responsive to suggestion that is a senior member of our community. It’s one of my jobs to help look after the younger members so we all get to the same destination of wrestling success in a healthy manner. Fight!

Just seeing anyone state that they don’t want to end up in ER - or any kind of nod to the safety and wellbeing of both participants - makes me more interested in meeting them. I like the idea that we try to compete and win, but not hurt each other. If you’re not getting paid like a professional fighter, what is the point of fighting so hard to cause injury? It’s a hobby for most, it should be fun and good exercise. Especially opponents you like, you want yourself and them to be healthy enough to have many good matches. I think you can challenge each other without causing injury, otherwise nobody is going to be doing this or any martial arts for too long.

Intensity and insanity are subjective terms. What can seem intense to one guy may seem insane to another.

A broken arm might be an accident or a crime. That could be a matter of opinion.

It's clear you avoid the ER etc by not responding to emails of people u don't fancy.

I wrote you and no response after over a day, your response here is very quick surprisingly.

Whatever but here's a tip, if someone writes me but there's no spark. I respond with grace. I say thanks but no thanks.

You ignore. We all have a right to say no, that's fine and, let's face it, there a lot better looking, skilled and younger men than you on here.

We do not have a right to treat others like objects and leave them ignored. It's a shoddy way to act and just shows the content of the character who treats others so shoddily.

Now you all know what you face and it is a great way to avoid ER.
