Attractive and intelligent guy to wrestle. He is far better wrestler than me and made sure I knew it and made use of it putting in one painful hold after another. He is stronger and a lot more aggressive than he appears to make out on the mats so beware! Still I enjoyed the evening even though it was a walk over for him.

25/07/2017: There are some guys you've just got to get a match with, and phyta123 and I have similar tastes for what we like in a match, so it was excellent when he accepted my impatient demand for a match in short order! No waiting for the weekend nonsense here, a midweek grapple at the High Barnet matroom was the order of the day. Unfortunately my impatience meant that phyta123 was wrestling with a crook shoulder, so it couldn't be as intense a battle as we'd both've liked, but it was still a good tough tussle and he made me work enjoyably hard for everything. He's got a good solid punch, which I always struggle to counter, so he held his own despite the injury. Chilling out between subs he proved to be a chatty and pleasant guy with a wealth of wrestling tales so he is highly recommended. Safe and sane and hopefully a rematch is on the cards.

29/07/2017: There is something in the theory that if a match is a breeze to arrange your opponent is going to be quality opposition. It certainly proved that way with the Gallic charm personified that is Riviera Wrestle and a horribly rainy, very unsummery London Saturday was no obstacle to a very relaxing and enjoyable grapple with him. Unfortunately he was carrying a bit of an injury to his shoulder, so we kept things playful, but despite my significant weight advantage he left me in no doubt that he knows his stuff and was startlingly strong for a guy of 65 kg. With my stomach rumbling for dinner his mouthwatering conversation about French cuisine was a tad cruel, but apart from that he was safe, sane and a delight to spend the day with. Highly recommended and I am eagerly awaiting another grapple with Riviera Wrestle.
