REMATCH – May 2016
This handsome young stud came to Hawaii and challenged the Champ to a rematch. Still smart and fast, he added strength and skill since our first match. We had a great time together, although the Champ administered the obligatory beatdown! :-) Now he can brag that he is the only stud to get whupped by the Champ in both Brooklyn and Honolulu. To mark the occasion, I really should have bought him a trophy! ;-) Highly recommended: many future matches planned!

FIRST MATCH – March 2014
Growin dude came over my Brooklyn condo earlier today. He is an extremely polite, gracious and highly educated young man. We chatted extensively before walking over to my wrestling room. On the mats, he is very strong, fit and tenacious. He has decent defensive skills, although I was able to take him down easily. Soon the champ began to dominate the young stud, racking off four straight submissions and several arm wrestling victories. It was a complete sweep for the Champ. But the strong young stud could claim two victories: firstly, I could not force him to call me daddy (even in Chinese....baba), and secondly, he was able to save himself from further subs by getting me to laugh repeatedly. Growin dude is an awesome, strong, intelligent grappler, and an even better human being. By all means, take the opportunity to wrestle him, chat with him, and get to know him. He is one of the finest young guys on this site!

I had a great time wrestling this dude! His pics don't do him justice. He's alot bigger and solid in person! Although I quickly dismantled him in the beginning, he proved himself to be a worthy opponent as he kindly returned the favor by using his tree trunk legs during scissor holds and lifting me over his shoulders with ease, forcing me to surrender and giving him his props LOL! I would say we are at a stalemate, so no other option but to prepare for round 2 with him real soon!

Very friendly guy that knows very good submission BJJ technique & is willing to teach & correct my mistakes or weaknesses. I really enjoyed his strength & stamina. I can usually take people his size down quite easily but he was very in shape & strong. I hope to meet him again soon!

Tom is one hack of a guy and a fearsome wrestler! Extremely smart in his moves and very powerful. Watch out of his very strong legs and do not for a second take your eyes off him or let go of your guard.
Off the mat he's an extremely nice, funny, kind guy and a great conversation went out for some drinks after and had a great time.
Make sure you do not pass on the chance of meeting this amazing(!!!) guy for fun and fighting if your roads cross...
Looking forward for round II

I recommend you sleep well and eat well and work out hard and be at the top of your game before you meet Gioroma.
And if, and only if, you'll take my recommendations under your advice and apply all of them before meeting Gioroma, you will still most likely lose!
One of the best wrestlers I had the pleasure of meeting with his constant irritating (because it makes everything look effortless) and lovely smile, I would wrestle everyday if i could.
Off the mat he's just as nice. Went out for some drinks with is (equally amazing) friend and had an all in all amazing experience!

Vice is a great guy and we enjoyed the whole meeting a lot. :) He really knows how to fight, is very powerful but he can also adapt to his opponent. He is very funny and nice companion of the mats also!

We had a very nice match in TLV. Gal has a perfect muscular body, enjoys the exhaustion of the fight and is a very nice and polite guy of the mats, too.
