Alain is the perfect host. Not only did he invite me to stay at his lovely home just outside Paris for 3 days. He also found me a very cheap return flight (€65) He also in the best traditions of France is a very good cook. Apart from when he was working me over it was a very pleasant & relaxing stay.
As a wrestler he is very technical , strong & a good & patient coach. As you have probably guessed he is a way better wrestler than me. He understands complicated things like the correct way to do an armbar& how to knock your opponent off balance & follow through without exhausting yourself. If you get the chance you should meet him. If your a wrestle god you will fight a worthy opponent. If your crap he will go at your pace & give you some coaching as well. He is definitely one of the best wrestlers I have met.
Really nice easy going guy. Totally safe. You might also get a match with his protégé French novice thrown in. Oh he has a very good matroom to. Alain merci beaucoup.

Tanker make the effort to come at my home for a weekend. I was happy to meet tanker with his so many past opponents. We passed many time on my mat in fun rumbles with this strong guy.
Outside mat he is a friendly man with who its pleasant to discuss and pass time

ILFIGHTER is an amazing guy...skilled...patient..strong...controlled...eager to share what he knows. He can turn on the aggression like a light switch. We had some great sparring and gut work. Enjoyed a challenging mat battle with Dadwrestle yesterday. Excellent tough, skilled, experienced opponent, a great guy to wrestle. Definitely recommended.

I had read a lot about this wrestling Scotsman! He was my first grapple at a meet in Manchester. It could not have been a better start! Skilled, tough and quick on the mats, he had me tapping! Looks good in gear, too. Off the mats, a great guy to chat with. This is a 5 Star wrestler not to be missed. HIGHLY recommended!

It was a pretty one sided match, not because of my weight advantage but because of his strength and knowledge. Literally hanging on by my fingertips before I inevitably tapped.
