In the six years I have had the pleasure of knowing and wrestling NI he just gets stronger, more skilled and more confident each time we hit the mats.
In the early days my greater experience allowed me to get the better of this fit, good looking lad. Always safe and sane, over time he has used his acquired knowledge of defence and submission holds to turn the tables on this old veteran!
Yesterday on the mats at Pippas we grappled for 40 minutes with no score until my advancing years caught up with me and I had to submit twice in rapid succession to his crushing body scissors. I shall remember his cocky victory pose for a long time and with great humility!
Underestimate this guy at your peril !
Off the mats he is great company and as ever we enjoyed chatting and exchanging good humoured banter over a few bevvies and a good meal.
If you haven't met NIwrestler yet I highly recommend you do so.

Denverwrestler made his schedule and challenge early. Confirmed his trip over a month before and kept me updated along the way. Showed up early and ready to roll. Stronger than he think he is and was able to defend my attacks well. Made me change my plans to get submissions which made it fun and challenging. Some deprive themselves of a good match with him because of his age. Their lost. I thank him for a hard match and welcome another. Great guy.

Have some fun rolling with this big, strong young man. Meet was shorter than ideal but I aim for another go at him. Very nice man off the mats as well. His skills are moving past formidable so catch him soon or you won't stand a chance.

Premier fighter who has an ideal space. Plays well at any level and makes it enjoyable. His hospitality is equally superior. Make your way into the woods and you will be happy you did.

Easily one of the most skilled submission grapplers on this site, and perhaps THE most skilled that I have wrestled. He's had years of proper BJJ training and even trains grapplers and fighters himself. Needless to say, I was in way over my head, but he still made the match fun for me and showed me lots of great tips. And you can't ask for a more polite and friendly guy, though his wisecracks had me groaning as much as his submission holds. Totally reliable, super nice, amazing skill – you can't do better than this

I think this big man was slightly surprised at how strong I was...despite wrestling that afternoon I was still determined to beat him! He's very strong, big and solid. A good wrestler who knows how to apply holds and can be aggressive which was fun. An overall top guy who had a lot of energy to keep wrestling and keep his weight on top of me!! Very intelligent guy to chat to. Highly recommend

Lovely Sunday evening meet with Polo while he was visiting ......
He hadn't packed any gear so I left out LOTS of mine for him to pick from....
( personally I wouldn't have chosen red boots with green trunks haha )

Had a nice roll, loved fore-arming his lovely chest.
Finished with an oil grapple in briefs ...there's something so hot about oiling a bloke up.

Sadly no time to socialise this time, I was up at dawn next morning.

Now if you want to see the perfect lightweight wrestler physique, look no further! And remember too, hes a footballer, so his legs are amazingly strong. Avoid his scissor holds! This was a meet in limited space, but was a great session. This wrestler has a good controlled aggressive style, always coming back for more and dishing out as much as he receives. Fun conversation off the mats. Next time we have agreed on more space. This was one of those meets that makes you glad you are part of the wrestling scene! Roll on Round 2!
