A really good bloke. I've not done any wrestling for a while and he was perfect for easing me gently back into the sport - and then putting on the pressure to make me work. I'm going to be aching for days, which is exactly what I wanted! I can't give him too much praise.

A great fun guy who's very easy to lift and carry around and a pleasure to hang out with.

Am 2. April, auf dem Rückweg von einer Dienstreise traf ich auf dankenswerter Einladung bei sportynord in seiner bestens ausgestatteten Kampf-Arena mit "kleiner_kerl" zusammen. Gleich vorweg; wer ihn wegen seiner Körperlänge unterschätzt, wird ordentlich belehrt werden. Nachdem sportynord mich nach stundenlanger Autofahrt mit Kaffee und Rauferei "geschmeidig" und mattenfähig gemacht hat starteten wir unsere Rauf-Runden. kleiner _kerl ist sehr kräftig, das bekommt man zu spüren. Momentan fehlt es ihm noch an ausgefeilten ringerischen Techniken; aber diese fehlenden Erfahrungen wird er bald erlangt haben. Sein spezielles kämpferisches Können - er ist Inhaber des blauen Gürtels in Karate - durfte er zum Glück beim Ringen nicht nutzen ;-) Insgesamt haben wir schöne, ausgeglichene und rücksichtsvolle Kampf-Runden vollführt.
kleiner_kerl ist sehr nett und abseits der Matte kann man sich wundertbar über weltliche Dinge unterhalten; was wir bis in die Nacht beim gemeinsamen Abendbrot zu Dritt auch taten. Gen Mitternacht trat ich dann die restliche Rückreise an -> sozusagen nach dem Prinzip, "der Tag hat 24 h und wenn das nicht reicht, wird noch die Nacht dazu genommen".
kleiner_kerl hat meine volle Empfehlung und gerne wieder.

After many years of playing cat and mouse, I finally had the opportunity to wrestle Kohl. He's a great trash talker leading up to a match, but once on the mat, he's all business. His bjj training shows - so if you're not a submission wrestler, you might as well chalk up a defeat. Also, that age thing - like 63 years old? Don't be fooled by it - he can clean the clock of guys half his age!! Great fun to wrestle and an excellent conversationalist. The years of waiting were WELL worth it! Now we just need some good sized mats to find out who the champ really is.

Un bon gabarit, bon cardio, beaucoup de force dans les bras et bon defenseur. Il aime la lutte et ça se sent. Très sympa de boire un verre après la lutte avec lui! À bientôt pour voir tes progrès !

Je ne vais pas être très original en recommandant Anton64 : Un très bon lutteur très sportif qui ne m'a laissé aucune fenêtre (ni porte) pour placer quelque chose. Il aime bien dominer et connait bien les techniques de soumission. C'est aussi quelqu'un de très sympa et abordable avec un contact facile.

AD idf m'avait proposé dès mon inscription sur ce site une rencontre meme si je n'avais pas de connaissance en matière de combat , étant donné son palmarès , j'étais hésitant . Je n ai aucun regret de l'avoir rencontré puisqu'il m'a donné de nombreux conseils et m'a montré plusieurs prises pour améliorer les prochains combats .Il a su s'adapter à mon niveau et je lui en suis vivement reconnaissant , il use de son temps pour faire partager sa passion du combat , un véritable pédagogue , un très bon coach sportif qui souhaite que son adversaire s'améliore . Il sait mettre à l'aise dès les premiers instants , j'ai eu l' impression que je le connaissais depuis tout temps ; je le recommande donc à tout abonné de ce site qu' il soit expérimenté ou non , vous aurez toujours à apprendre de ce brillant adversaire, encore un vif merci pour cet échange fructueux...

We had a rematch after a good few years! Can't believe it has been that long! We had a fun competitive match and Fightwell put me through my paces but I made him tap a few times more than he got me ;). We won't leave it so long again.
