The Wrestler:

Class, strength and good looks. A few words that describe NYC123. This fighter is fire. He has a quiet but imposing presence and that is how he conducts himself on and off the mats. It was a privilege to have met NYC123 in two instances: A group fight and an open mats session during the 2025 Winter Rumble in Toronto. This wrestler does not only have a perfect physique but also is agile and fast. He mentioned to me that he was “mildly strong”, which makes him also a bit too modest. He is very strong and it is a pleasure to feel and see his muscles in action. If you have a chance to meet this incredible fighter, you must try to seize it.

The Match(es):

Our first encounter was in a group match graciously hosted by MadeinCanada. For me, it was the best opening of the Winter Rumble! NYC123, TOWrestler85 and MadeinCanada introduced me to what a proper MF Battle Royale can be. It was so much fun testing strength 1:1 with NYC123 and the others and then having an all-vs-all battle. The fight was full of good and high energy. We all got a very sweaty workout to start our day, and it was a great warm-up for the rest of the matches.

It was truly a surprise to see NYC123 on the second day during the Open Mats event. We had a good, sweaty and challenging roll testing each other’s strength. This is when I realized the agility and creativity of this fighter to find ways to get out of challenging positions and to put me in tough holds. The fight felt well balanced and even though we were both fighting to win, it had just the right level of intensity. This match ended up in a tie, which is not bad because it means that we must meet again to wrestle and figure out who will win. Until next time NYC123.

The Wrestler:

This man is power! Beyond his height, this man exudes strength and confidence. As a fighter, Giant is a true force of nature, almost like an ocean that can squash any human with its waves, and yet Giant is capable of measuring his strength and adapt to the fighter he is confronting. I had the privilege to observe and experience this by fighting him and watching him fight other more advanced, stronger and bigger opponents than me in an Open Mats session. The best part is that he lives in the same city where I live and I will certainly fight him again. 100% recommended!

The Match:

Our match took place in proper mats during the Winter Rumble in Toronto. Giant kindly offered to let me start with an advantage given our size and weight difference, which I declined (silly me). Just feeling his strength coming at me was exhilarating. I soon realized that Giant was controlling his movements and strength to match my energy and he was very careful not to put too much weight on me. He of course turned me into a squashed pretzel and demonstrated great grappling technique. All I can say is that it was an awesome experience fighting with someone so strong and so controlled. I would fight Giant over and over again. Perhaps one day I will make him tap (in my dreams :). Certainly someone fun that you should meet if you have a chance.

definitely enjoyed taking on SIL. though I was in control of the match, he fought back hard for a long time refusing to give up. even when he was in compromising positions, he would make snarky remarks which made the struggle more fun. would definitely recommend for a good time.

Jake I Think is a all-around awesome guy, and always great to be in his company. He has a interesting competitive style 😅 and very strong, but his pro-wrestling is constantly great to watch. He is charismatic and moves well in the ring. A nice guy too, would always be happy to meet again.

I had the pleasure of meeting ExploringGuy for a match on his recent visit to Oslo. I’m always a bit cautious when agreeing to have a match with someone who is 20 years younger - especially someone with a lot more BJJ training…but it turned out to be a great experience. I had a definite weight advantage and conditions were not exactly ideal (hotel bed, no mats), but we had a fun and fairly aggressive match, always safe and respectful. He’s quick and knows how to defend himself from attacks and he can easily get out of most holds when he wants to. He’s also a really nice guy with a good intellect and humor. I enjoyed meeting him and we agreed to having a second match next time I’m in Singapore.

Billybob is a great time! I had a blast! He's quick, strong, and has surprising moves! We talked for hours too–he's super interesting and a super friendly guy! Could have kept wrestling for hours too! Hope we can meet again soon

This guy is really strong and has some skill. He always gives me a hard time. I like we are same size and in Florida. Our matches are fun. I am more muscular than he is but he always wins. I totally recommend.

Hercules Submission and I met at his place. We wrestled and I just happened to come out ion top using my skills. It's a nice compliment with him saying that I'm pretty strong and usually win. But if I made some mistakes I'm sure he would win some bouts. Overall its fun wrestling him and just hanging out and talk... I would definitely recommend wrestling with him.
