Very safe gentleman and easy to talk to before and during the session, making the whole experience comfortable from start to finish. While experienced, he was a bit surprised by how strong I was and seemed to really enjoy the sweaty trouble once the takedowns and intense submissions started 😈. Great attitude both on and off the mats.

I had a lot of fun destroying scissorboi with relentless body and headscissors till he submitted to me again and again! As my jobber he took an incredible amount of punishment. I recommend him to anyone who enjoys punishing lightweights!

It was awesome meeting this guy! Super easy to schedule with, fun wrestling action, and we had a lot of common interests in pro/submission techniques. He knows a lot of moves, and I'm happy to say that I showed him quite a few more too! I hope to meet again in the future.

Glad that we finally caught up after scheduling conflicts during Wrestle Fest. Well It was well worth the wait.
He is a strong, fit, tough wrestler that keeps the wrestling fun and even more fun the longer it goes. The match was a blast and it was a shame that we had later commitments; otherwise we would still be wrestling! Great fun.

What a feisty muscle man! Rumblefish and I collided for a brief midday match. Don't let his age or size fool you, this guy is seriously built. Tremendous strength and a clear appetite for a sweaty grapple.

Off the mats, our communication was smooth and steady, we met as agreed and planned in advance. Rumblefish was kind enough to jump on a short daytime window and come see me at my place on short notice, which was very much appreciated.

This guy is strong, scrappy, and knows how to get you into some good holds. Had a blast wrestling with him. Our time was short and sweaty, but it's making me look forward to the next match we have.

A wonderful man and an incredible asset to the community, capsaicin is a relentless advocate to bring more people into the amateur wrestling world in an environment that is welcoming for LBGT folks and he does so with such a big smile and a strong hug.

I saw him wrestle in Vegas a tournament. He gave me the support in my ear that I needed to be my best there too. He was kind enough to invite me up to a practice in NYC and told me to go full singlet and lose my shorts and shirt for our match.

It was great to drill together finally and wrestle a little in their space, and even better to get dinner and share some time talking about how we found our ways to where we are now. We'd been talking for about 6-7 years now, and just instantly felt connected in person, and I'm so glad we did.

Almost a year ago in an open mats session during Toronto wrestlefest, our eyes caught across the mat, but we weren't able to get a match in then (alas! The feeling of the fest). But the magic of Meetfighters and chatting all along the way kept the heat up for months until there was a chance to meet in NYC and finally get some unfinished business done.

Though a train ride and a long flight sapped us of some energy, there was much heat to work through as we made good on some promises made over text, and maybe shared a little technique back and forth.

An absolutely lovely man who I was happy to connect with on a few more levels than just wrestling, and glad we made good on the thought that we'll wrestle someday in the future. Those matches do happen and they can be absolutely fun :)

If you want a good workout, try this guy on for size. Though he doesn't have any formal training, he is quite the holds expert. At the start of the match, he came right out of the gate on the offensive and was aggressively confident, which was a lot of fun. I look forward to rolling on the mat with him again.

We had been messaging for quite a while, and he decided to come over right after Wrestlefest. Of course, I was still excited to fight him because he’s a great guy, easy to talk to, and we’re into similar things. The fight was great, even though I was a bit tired and injured from the previous days, so we took a more relaxed approach. Definitely recommend!
