It's funny. For the most part, my wrestling matches are the culmination of days, weeks, months, years of communication. Time spent building anticipation in the hope that reality will match the fantasy I've created in my mind about someone. It becomes part of the fun, and I can sometimes forget just how exciting the spontaneous can be.

Rolling with fightyou came after only minutes of communication. Yes, he stood out among the crowd at the open mat event at Wrestlefest EU (Berlin) 2026. Yes, he looked strong, cheerful, self-assured, ready to fight. But we had exchanged few words, and I knew little more about him than what I could gather at a glance. When we got on the mats, there was no anticipation - only action.

And the action that unfolded in front of the small crowd was intense. fightyou is skilled. fightyou is very skilled, and I honestly don't know if I managed to push him very hard at all. He didn't overwhelm me with his strength - he didn't have to - but I could tell that taking him down would require me to get much stronger and much better.

Our match was short, merely an introduction to what I know is still to come. The anticipation is already building.
