A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far the other side of the Atlantic, sfrookie dropped me a note. I don’t recall what it said, but I do recall thinking that were our paths to cross, sfrookie would make an excellent sparring partner.

As we’ve all come to expect, I wasn’t wrong. Having finally hauled my ass west of the Pond, I realised my first stop was on sfrookie’s home turf. The time had come and a fun time it was.

Sfrookie is a cocky ball of energy who loves headlocks almost as much as he loves his peaks. Plenty of back and forth with this knowledgable and engaging bloke (his word, to my delight). He’s strong but manageable; loves dishing out the ‘hurt’ and is never one to knowingly miss an opportunity to throw down —literally— atop his opponent; and suffers in scissors more than he returns the favour.

My time in SF is over, and I’m delighted to have finally met the local legend (also his words, not mine). After all, I could hardly make my way all the way over there and miss the GG Bridge, Alcatraz, or sfrookie. See you next time, buddy.

I didn't expect much from this match on very short notice. I've just thought, it could be hard for me to tame an experienced BJJ grappler, half of my age. Then my first impression, when I've seen him, was: Wow, that guy looks much stronger and also more attractive than on his profile! He is very openminded, easygoing, friendly and witty, when he is talking with you, and on the mats he is an experienced fighter with quick reactions and a multifaceted technique. He really knows how to use painful leglocks. I've really enjoyed all rounds of our pretty balanced match. I'm pretty sure, there will come up several rematches, because Atlantis400 and me share exactly the same passion for wrestling. And besides this we discovered, that we got more in common than originally expected. Take your chance, if you will get the chance to fight him!!

I don't think I've ever left a recommendation for this guy. I should have.
I have known KevWrstlr for years, we have wrestled multiple times, and each time has been different to the last.

Very friendly, the nicest guy. But once wrestling starts; he switches. I love it, it's a thrilling experience I think everyone should wrestle him.

If you want a hard, sweaty and potentially erotic match. This is your guy.

Don't let his personality fool you... He very talented. Even put me in holds I was unaware of.

Wolfmad is a very strong guy who has very powerful legs and arms. He had me submitted a number of times. He downplays his strength and wrestling ability which has been mentioned by some of his past opponents. Believe me whatever he says about his strength he is a very strong experienced wrestler and very easy on the eye too! Also a very nice friendly guy who I would thoroughly recommend
If you’re ever in Madrid. I would definitely meet him again and look forward to it!

Great late night meet up with prosubwrestler and scrappywrestler! He's a fun, engaging, and interesting guy who loves the same moves! We got to roll a few times but we were both wiped from working out all day! He's great to chat with!

First of all when i talk to him like hey im beginner in wrestling can u teach me? i think he won't cause the different body size and i'm a newbie.
suddenly he said lets make a schedule i was like wow thats impressive.
He is my first Teacher also Opponent in Wrestle/Bjj (Never wrestle before) very humble,friendly, generous when on/off mats
its nice to talk with him!

He taught me some moves that mostly i don't know how to moves
He was like this go this bla" you must this and then sometimes i confused what he saying (my bad in english) i only use Rear Naked Choke many times its didn't work well for him (cause my arms small) i felt like i use my 100% strenght but he always said more,more,more.
i know he use only 20% of his strength to against me cause we do wrestle after his work if he use 50% his strenght i might be tapout all the times,even he always allow me to do moves.
then we stop when my right thigh Kram that i don't know the word in english i just scream then he knows the word are u "Kram" in bahasa thats funny.

After chatting for years, possibly decades, and never seeming to manage to be in the same city at the same time, wresnipgym and I finally met this afternoon. I am not sure 'past opponent' is the right description, as he didn't oppose me very much; instead, I taught him a few holds and walked him through a few moves. We then had a very pleasant, gentle roll around, and he was kind enough to give me a massage afterwards (highly recommended). Nice guy and interesting conversation partner too.

for a newcomer, pencak meet to the right person like tapout. tapout arrange the schedule for us to do a grappling sessions.

Pencak is a good person, he is a fast learner and also has a good attitude. Keep up the spirit to learn more about wrestling and also don't forget to do more exercise to get more improvement on your stamina

It's a pleasure to meet you

It's been great having my first-ever experience of wrestling/grappling (i actually still not familiar with the term), alongside these three kind and friendly people (tapout, samuel001, DamianGP).

Samuel001 is very kind. He answered any questions I had through chat before we actually meet, and I could see the same warmth in person. He welcomed me with open arms and was very chill.

As for the one-on-one match, he was strong, of course i still can't knock him out. In terms of the score, i dont even remember how many times i loose.
