If you haven't had a chance to wrestle this man, you have missed a great opportunity to test your skills. He is strong and experienced and has a killer body. We were evenly matched and both were relentless in submitting each other. A sweaty, brutal matchup that neither of us can forget. Both of our biceps were sore for days after attempting chokes and headlocks. We will wrestle again for sure!!

Every so often you message someone on here to compliment their profile and the next thing you know you have a match within a couple weeks. The stars aligned for Megawatt and myself with me traveling to CT and him driving through on the same dates. We had a fun promission style match going back and forth with eachother. Easy to communicate with and open to discuss the type of match you're looking for. Has a great imagination for pro style matches if that's what you're looking for. My only regret is we didn't have a chance to grab a meal together afterwards due to my schedule. Looking forward to seeing how he trained up for our next match. 😁

12/09/2026: Meeting this big guy at the Aussie/Kiwi spring meet on the Gold Coast was just an absolute pleasure, and wrestling him even more so. Unfortunately for me he's not only big and strong but also skilled and trained and controlled, so unsurprisingly I got totally dominated from start to finish, and didn't even have the faint hope that (unlike some of the heavyweights around) he'd blow up and I could perhaps get a few taps out of him once he's too puffed out to bother defending. Nope. Not that that mattered as I was having a ball getting mangled and smeared all over the mats, and the time wrestling him was nowhere near long enough. He's very safe and controlled and positively considerate in keeping the majority of his weight off you while he's keeping you pinned down, and in general he's much more interested in getting taps through good technique than through brute strength, which makes for a great grapple. Off the mats he's a fun guy to be around, tells a mean yarn, scrubs up startlingly well, and is a champ at sustainability, ensuring that food waste was not a problem at the spring meet. Very much looking forward to meeting and wrestling him again and he is very highly recommended.

Well I had the pleasure of meeting squashlad today. Very relaxed easy going guy. Very skilled and easily of powered me. Awesome guy on and off the mat. Hope our paths cross again one day. Full recommendation.

12/09/2026: Luckily for me geewrestler came to our tussles on the mats at the Aussie/Kiwi spring meet on the Gold Coast with a dodgy shoulder, which kind of limited what he could do to attack; otherwise I would have been toast. He's a powerfully built guy, in great shape, and you can certainly feel that when he applies a hold. Nevertheless he also brings a mischievous sense of humour and a wicked smile to his grappling that makes it hard not to enjoy tussling with him regardless of whether you're (briefly) on top or tapping out. And off the mats he's a kind, gentlemanly and funny guy who's very easy to talk to and get along with and a big part of why the meet was such a hoot. I'm very much looking forward to meeting and wrestling him again and geewrestler is vety highly recommended by me.

I had a fantastic match against this muscle stud! We made contact a couple of months prior to our meeting, and jumped on the opportunity to schedule a bout during my trip to Kansas City.

SW was interested in a one-sided heel vs jobber bout, and he can most certainly take a LOT of punishment. He suffers beautifully, holds out stubbornly until he is forced hard to submit, and is the perfect workover target for mean heels out there. Very easy on the eyes and lots of fun to be around.

We also spent a fair amount of time off the mats, SW was kind enough to show me around the city, sharing hidden gems and valuable recommendations. Smart, personable, and polite – makes him as a jobber even more attractive!

I recommend SW to all future opponents. Hit him up and have a tremendous time like I did.

Thanks again so much! Next time, we will get "proper" Italian food somewhere 😉

12/09/2026: After chatting here on MeetFighters on and off, it was great to get a chance to meet Briswrestler81 at the Aussie/Kiwi spring meet on the Gold Coast. He was both brave and a good sport getting stuck into all the wrestling given some unfortunate pretty major current health challenges, but didn't let that stop him, and gave a good account of himself on the mats. Like me, I think he found wrestling all the big units there both enjoyable and tiring, so it was good for us non-heavyweights to have a chance to tussle together. Plus he wasn't shy about helping double team me on occasion! Off the mats he is an engaging chap and easy to chat to. Hopefully we can grapple again at next year's meet.

12/09/2026: Ausfella was one of the top-bloke organizers of the Aussie/Kiwi spring meet on the Gold Coast, and took his hosting responsibilities seriously, making sure that everyone felt welcome and included, including first timers like me. Nevertheless that didn't mean he was often off the mats, and I got a few good bouts in with him. Some of them I even surprised myself, managing to take the big guy down and get on top of him as often as he did to me. But it was always to no avail—he'd inevitably resist my attempts at chokes and locks, power out of them, and then turn the tables and make me tap. If you enjoy a sense of futility in your wrestling as I do, Ausfella is your man! He's a chill, relaxed, friendly guy who's got the balance right between getting stuck in and going for the win, but not taking the whole situation of two sweaty men rolling on the floor overly seriously either, and, as a result, wrestling him is a heap of fun. Come to the meets, wrestle everyone, wrestle Ausfella, probably tap out to him, have a good laugh: he is highly recommended.

12/09/2026: After chatting with aussieguy93 on and off for over half a decade, it was great to finally get to meet him at the Aussie/Kiwi spring meet on the Gold Coast. He was as charming, funny and entertaining in person as he is online, but unfortunately for me, rather more powerful than he lets on, and I failed completely in my attempts to get him to tap out. It was a lot of sweaty fun trying though. In terms of him getting me to tap out, the first one did take him a gratifyingly long time; but, once he had my measure, the taps came quicker and faster, and in the end I was just being toyed with. Still, there are worse places to be than being pinned helpless under his powerful bod, and his ever-present cheeky smile does have a useful way of distracting you from your arm being ripped off. Off the mats he is funny and engaging, as welcoming and friendly as all the other great guys at the meet, modest and interesting, full of (good) surprises, and just a pleasure to be around. Also he looks amazing in a singlet (oops, shallow). Very highly recommended and I am looking forward to a rematch; although now I'm clear he's 110 kg and not 95 I'm not expecting any change in the result!
