We had a match at the Wrestlefest EU (Berlin) 2026. Glad I was able to meet an old chat buddy on the MF chat and face off against him for real. He had quite a muscular build and a six pack too, I thought he looked great. He was equally impressive on the mats, as he was able to counter and defend and was surprised by how strong he was. He has definitely bulked up since I last chatted with him on the MF chat! Off the mat he was friendly and we had a good conversation together. Hope to rematch sometime (when we're both recovered from WF)

Had to admit his incredible build looks ever better in real life which intimidated me when he asked me to roll at open mat. Glad I got to try and did as much as I can, cuz he kept it safe but intense (for me). He’s a friendly and social guy off mat, he gave the night so much energy for everyone around. And gave really good ideas for next years event. Thanks Bobby!

We had a very nice match at the Wrestlefest EU (Berlin) 2026. LeeLocks is a friendly guy with bjj skills. He is always interested to learn more and to be honest, he is stronger on the mat as he thinks. Highly recommended!

GrapplingHB is a great master of BJJ. I was honoured to have a brief match with him during open mats in Berlin WrestleFest. This encounter was enough to realize why this fighter is so well respected across the entire MF community. He is strong, fast, yet calm and strategic. Despite this fighter being a black belt and having tons of experience, he is humble and very kind to share his knowledge. During our fight he gave me pointers on how to execute holds and escapes. This match was truly enjoyable. I felt safe at all times with GrapplingHB despite having an intense match with him and despite being submitted over and over in the most subtle, elegant ways possible. If you have the opportunity to meet GrapplingHB, you must not miss it!

Fierce and scrappy on the mats, chill and friendly off the mats. What else could you ask from a fighting partner?

Watching him roll with others, I also got the sense that he can really adapt to different kinds of opponents and different vibes, keeping it engaging for both people involved. A quality not everyone has.

Shoutout to my next-door neighbour, and to Wrestlefest in Berlin for making us cross paths.

Had a great time rolling with Newwb. We met on one of the last days of the fest so my energy wasn’t fully there but in full wrestlefest nature, we went to the mats anyway. After a quick roll I showed him a pro move or 2. But we had great conversation and I would highly recommend him if you have the chance to take him on!!

We already knew each other from the monthly meeting, so WrestleFest gave us the chance for our second fight ☺️

He’s definitely strong and competitive, which made the match really challenging and intense in the best way. Always fun to wrestle someone who genuinely pushes you and wants to win.

Outside the mats he’s also a really nice and easygoing guy, which makes the whole experience even better.

I have a feeling the rematch won’t take too long :)
