I have a competitive match with Tkdboy and it was awesome! He's skilled, fast, and knowledgeable when it comes to grappling. He has some nice submissions up his sleeve. Even though our match was intense, he is safe when applying holds and submissions. Also, make sure your cardio is up to par when you take him on.

Tap out Tyler is an all around good guy. We had a jobber/heel with him as the heel. He was able to put me in a variety of holds that slowly brought me to my limit. He has a nice mat set up at his place that provided plenty of space for us. When he wasn't putting me in holds on the mat, we talked about a variety of topics together. I enjoyed our match together, and I look forward to the next one.

How nicely I fiddled with Trapdoor on the Open Mat in Mechelen....

Trapdoor is a practiced martial artist. I a lover with no martial arts experience but I love to frolic. How well Trapdoor adapted at my experience and we rolled wonderfully. Hopefully I will see this nice fighter again next time. Highly recommended!

Well, what a pleasure!

From the minute we landed, David was amazing! Picked us from the airport and took us immediately to a training session, (best way to start a holiday)! During the course of the weekend we have rolled, laughed, played games and chilled out together! It was honestly an absolute pleasure to spend time with you this weekend! And I’m so looking forward to August!

I love meeting up with David, he is so caring and thoughtful, and I am so glad to call him a friend! 😍

Met up with Bamm-Bamm during the Belgium open mat in Mechelen. It was a good roll, quite technical and a really good time, was a good laugh also! Very polite and pleasurable guy! It was an absolute pleasure to meet and really made the travel and holiday even more special! Looking forward to meeting again!

I had the pleasure of rolling with Ryan-Savage during one of our regular open mats.

Ryan and I have been exchanging conversations ever since he decided to join one of our events. He is modest and kind, with a witty sense of humor, as demonstrated during a card game we played together. Ryan trained with me at my club, and on another day, we participated in a group rolling session.

On the mat, Ryan is stronger than he looks and gives himself credit for. His strength was noted by others at the open mat, who were impressed by the skills he's developed after only six months of training. During our roll, he managed to maintain the upper hand for most of the session and nearly submitted me with an armbar. It will be fascinating to see how he progresses over time, not just in BJJ but also in his self-confidence and self-appreciation.

As he becomes more accustomed to the sport, Ryan is learning how to use his strengths more effectively. He was able to pin me to the ground with nowhere for me to go. He took his time setting up a basic Americana, which I saw coming from a mile away, but I just wasn’t able to defend against it.

So, be aware, Ryan—I’ll be looking for ways to fend off that submission, next time you’ll need to find another way!

Nach einem längeren Chat hat es mit einem Treffen geklappt. Sauerländer ist beim Armdrücken wie auch beim Ringen ein zäher Gegner, wir haben uns beide nichts geschenkt und viel geschwitzt. Nette Gespräche beim Kaffee gab es auch. Es war sicher nicht das letzte Treffen.

Dem ersten Treffen ging ein längerer Chat voraus. funfighternrw ist ziemlich stark, ich hatte zwischendurch erstmal Zweifel ob ich gegen ihn an komme. Aber insgesamt war das Match sehr ausgeglichen, ich habe es ihm nicht leicht gemacht. Es wird sicherlich nicht das letzte mal sein, um vor oder nach Kaffee und Kuchen mal Kräfte zu messen mit ihm.

Reliable, easy to arrange a match and chat with and a hell of a lot of fun on the mats. Looks great in his gear and takes a beating very well. Looking forward to round two.
