Bartramia was a gracious, skilled and fun opponent! he invited me to his hotel for a quick pro match - though it was relatively short, he definitely made all of it count with his strength and talent. I'd definitely recommend you meet him if you get the opportunity!

What an amazing fighter and man to spend some time with! The minute we got to my place we went right downstairs and hit the mats, PHX went right after it and it felt amazing. We definitely liked the same kind of fight, aggressive grappling with body punches anything goes. His skills and punching ability were absolutely what I wanted and honored taps when I needed.
PHX is a true fighter and a true man all around. He says what he will do and follows through. We did a little bit of everything which mixed it up and made it a good time for both. We gut punched, grappled with some bjj skills, showed each other some moves and happily used them on each other, once down on the mats or floor fists were flying, fought in most every room in my house, smoked cigars, grilled, took some time on the side by side to enjoy the Nebraska Platte River and most of all had some of the most educated conversation I have had in a long time. I can't say enough good things about PHX, what an honor to have him here. BTW, he has big feet and likes to use them....i was told never to throw up on them. ;)
We both like to dominate which made every fight a challenge. His work schedule is very rigorous and stress filled. Him being frustrated with work made it easy for me to attach and get a fight started, we both needed a release from life.
PHXgrappler is ALWAYS welcome here! This meeting gave great meaning to bonding with another fighter. Get him one on one and be ready to enjoy on and off the mats fun.

I had a great match with JRust359. This guy is very strong and with great technique. Once you find yourself locked up in one of his holds, there is absolutely no escape. He is a very skilled wrestler and yet at the same time, he is very safe and checks to make sure you’re fine. He’s one of the best wrestlers I’ve ever wrestled with.
More importantly, he is super-nice. He is also exceptionally intelligent, highly educated and a great conversationalist. I loved our talks in between our rounds of wrestling. I highly recommend him. If you’re lucky enough and he’s interested in wrestling you, do not let the chance go by. I can easily say my match with him was my best match so far on this site. And I hope we get to wrestle again.
It’s been a bit over three years since our first match, and we’ve had quite a few now since our first roll. Every match has been great and quite a challenge for me. He’s very good on the mat and those legs still remain lethal! Even after all my matches on this site, he still remains one of the best wrestlers I’ve rolled with. Very skillful and super safe too; so despite our size difference I know it’ll always be a great match. I also found him quite a bit stronger in every consecutive meet-up too, so that’s always a great challenge, often to my detriment. Haha He has also taught me a few moves too which I suspect he sometimes regrets.
He’s one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met here; intelligent, informed and a great conversationalist too. I always enjoy our talks between and after our fight rounds.
I suppose, after a few years on this site, we all have our favorite opponents that we enjoy rolling with. JRust359 is definitely one of my favorites. I love wrestling this guy (even when he kicks my ass) and am always happy to travel out of State to meet and wrestle him. He’s a great asset to this community.

We met twice and it was always very easy to schedule. He has good techniques and lot of strength. He is also a nice guy in and outside the mat.

Es un gran persona. Planeamos este encuentro desde mayo de 2025 y lo pude conocer por fin en CDMX. Le di la bienvenida en el aeropuerto y comimos en el centro histórico. Caminamos al hotel en un recorrido histórico de 15 minutos y llegamos a su hotel en Garibaldi. Luchamos 3 horas. Me enseñó algunos castigos y llaves de sumision que ha aprendido en sus encuentros. Aguanta perfectamente los castigos y llaves aplicados. Fue una sesión de mucho sudor, fuerza y destreza. Espero volver a luchar con el en un futuro.

Glad we were able to get this meet sorted in that brief time span we had but wrestling power ranger he really lives up to his name he’s strong and won’t let u get holds in proper. Great to talk to and easy to arrange a meet hopefully we can have another opportunity one of these days again.
