去年の秋、メキシコシティで、私のプロレスヒーローの一人、ダニー・ラッシュが、彼のお気に入りのピンクの柄のスピード水着をプレゼントしてくれました。それを着たのは、今夜東京で、もう一人のプロレスヒーロー、マグナムJPに会うまで一度もありませんでした。

本当に素敵な人でした。

夜は韓国焼肉を食べ、待ちに待ったビールを（ついに！）一緒に飲みました。プロレスは直感的なものだとか、尊敬、自信、男の攻撃性の美しさと規律について語り合いました。

その数時間前、私たちは組み合いました。友人が私がマグナムJPに会うと知ると、みんな彼のことを絶賛していました。彼は伝統的な黒のトランクス姿で、まさに象徴的でした。私は彼の純粋なパワーのヘッドロックに息を呑みました。でもまずは、私のヒールサイドを攻めました。彼はアブストレッチ、レッグスプリット、ボディシザーズ、キャメルクラッチ…そして何度かの3カウントピンフォールに耐えました。テキサスクローバーリーフ、正真正銘のナガタロック、STF、そして脈打つようなヘッドシザーズを食らった。この素晴らしいテクニシャンが、リングでの見事な技の数々を収めた動画を共有してくれたことに感謝している。

彼は私が電車に間に合うように見送ってくれた。突然、別れが辛くなった。何度も握手を交わし、彼の肩に頭を抱き寄せ、拳を胸に当てた。マグナムJPに出会えたこと、そして彼を推薦できたことは、本当に光栄だった。

Last fall in Mexico City, one of my wrestling heroes – Danny Rush – gifted me one of his favorite pink-patterned speedos. I never wore them until tonight in Tokyo when I met another one of my wrestling heroes, Magnum JP.

Such a good man.

We ended the evening with Korean barbecue and sharing (yes, finally!) our long-awaited beer. We spoke about how wrestling is intuitive. It's respect. Confidence. The beauty and discipline of male aggression.

Hours before, we locked up. When friends found out I was meeting Magnum JP, they sung his praises. He was iconic in his traditional black trunks, and I was gasping in his pure-power headlocks. But first, we explored my heel side. He endured an ab stretch, leg split, body scissors, camel clutch... and a few three-count pins. I took a Texas cloverleaf, a true Nagata Lock, an STF and his pulsating headscissors. I appreciate that this great technician shared videos of his fantastic work in ring matches.

He made sure I got to my train. Suddenly, goodbye was hard. Several handshakes, my head hugging his shoulders and my fist against my heart. What an honor to meet and recommend Magnum JP.

Frenchbulldog is a mountain of muscles and handsomeness, and lucky for me I got a chance to scale!🗻 He took plenty of low blows and kept coming back for more. 💥🥜💥 He even gave a sweet massage after our fun. Easy to set up with, easy to talk with, and easy on the eyes. What more could anyone ask for in an opponent? A true pleasure to connect with while in Paris. ✨🇫🇷✨

Hace mucho tiempo que vengo esperando tener una lucha con Tap Out. En la época en la que yo, inocentemente, iniciaba, lo conocí, pero no logré concretar con él cuando estaba en Perú. Así que, cuando vino para disfrutar de unos días en Lima, no dudé en hacer tiempo para poder darle la bienvenida con una lucha competitiva.

Cuadramos una lucha y le ofrecí el mat que mi pareja y yo tenemos, y fue la oportunidad de hacer una pequeña reunión de lucha, donde aprovechamos en juntarnos cuatro luchadores.

Debo decir que, aunque yo estaba enfermo, di lo mejor para luchar contra él, pero sin duda su formación y habilidad no dejaron que yo durara lo suficiente sin tapear. Soy bastante resistente, pero él lo es también, y más aún en su habilidad de encontrar los puntos débiles en mi defensa y lograr una llave que me haga rendir sin tener que ejercer mucha fuerza.

Un honor conocerlo. Tuvimos una excelente velada y ya le dejé abierta la revancha, en la que espero poder llegar con más técnica y hacerlo tapear a él.

I’ve been waiting for a long time to have a match with Tap Out. Back when I was just starting out, I met him, but I wasn’t able to make it happen when he was in Peru. So when he came to Lima to enjoy a few days, I didn’t hesitate to make time to welcome him with a competitive match.

We arranged a match, and I offered him the mat that my partner and I have. It turned into a small wrestling gathering where four of us got together.

I have to say that even though I was sick, I gave my best to fight him, but without a doubt his training and skill didn’t allow me to last long without tapping. I’m quite resistant, but he is too—especially in his ability to find weak points in my defense and lock in a hold that makes me submit without needing to use much strength.

It was an honor to meet him. We had a great session, and I’ve already left the door open for a rematch, where I hope to come back with better technique and make him tap.

Solid session for this newbie. He picked things up fast, which made it easy to keep things moving without having to slow down and over-explain everything. Good energy, easy to work with. Got properly sweaty for a first session, and didn’t fall apart when things got a little spicy, which made it fun to turn the intensity up and see how it played out. Handles it well and keeps things smooth. Round 2 already set !

carlosfighter was so nice to host a group match on his mats in Lima. He put on his wrestling singlet himself and proved to endure quite long before he was made tap in several rounds. He is “tranquilo” and recommendable.

Met with Pool Boy in the morning at my place. He's really good looking and has an incredible body. He did not have as much experience but was super strong and really fun to wrestle with. Managed to press me off him in the middle of a match with ease which was very impressive. Just his raw strength and him smiling throughout the match made me enjoy it even more. Exhilarating match throughout which left both of us sweaty after the match.

Off the match he was easy to arrange a match with and a delight to chat with, talking about jobs and hobbies. With more experience he'll definitely become unstoppable with that strength. Definitely recommend to reach out to him if he has time for a match, and I really hope I can meet him again someday :)
