Had a fun time hangin’ tough with this guy, who has all the right stuff! Instead of the standard recommendation, and in honour of his Irish trip, I’ve opted for a limerick(ish):

If you meet Brendan Byers you will be in luck,
For to get in his holds it is fun to be stuck,

This recommendation is way past due. After a few years of chatting. We finally had our match. Sportsfan has some good instincts for wrestling. I was able to show him some moves and he picked them up easily. Great guy off the mat. And looking forward to our next match!

Had the pleasure of visiting Nick for a match.
A gracious host who, despite his claims of being a novice, was quick to pick up some holds and moves we practiced together and then had a fun grapple.
A really fun, friendly guy, who I felt totally comfortable with and enjoyed our match.
Definitely recommended and look forward to a rematch soon.

Super nice guy, great communicator - which is key. He contacted me well in advance when he was planning to be in town for work - which kind of told me he was hungry for it. That week happened to be really packed but we managed to get a match in at his hotel. Don't be fooled - this is one strong-assed dude who likes to try to overpower from the start with quick surprise attacks and gain advantage fast. But let's just say I didn't give him an inch to spare....few opportunities to apply the holds he struggled so hard to try to apply. I guess I had a lot of pent up rage from the intense week I had and took it all out on him - poor guy :-) But he did put up a valiant fight.

Very nice and strong wrestler, met him during his visit to Barcelona and can confirm his strong legs and scissors. He has long endurance and won't tap easily, he was nice to teach me, and don't doubt, that as he gets more experience, he will soon become an invincible opponent. We shared a beer afterwards and had a walk around. Looking forward to get the chance to fight him back again.

What a great surprise has been facing Arabicwrestler here during my recent visit in Bahrein. I thought that for some reason it was going to be easy match and he prove me wrong. He is very strong with lots of stamina during fight and that makes him great wrestler. He doesn't like to loose so he will be at his best to dominate the fight. On a more personal side, it is a pleasure to meet people like him, he is great host organize everything and makes easy to meet. Thank you again invitation after match it has been pleasure to meet you here in Bahrein.

Had a great match with Tigerbob. A great guy off the mats and strong and determined on them. A nice thick build and gives a mean bearhug. Would definitely recommend
