Met londonwrestleguy on a short work trip to Bangkok. Good discussions on expectations pre meeting. Watch out for this guy as he is tougher than expected. Got a couple taps from him before changing midway through to start a more give and take heel jobber match. Was great to be able to lock arms and legs with this guy and I recommend him to anyone looking for a give and take match.

Had a great quick match with Newbie guy. He’s incredibly strong and knows how to control an opponent on the mat. He’s definitely a tough but also very fun to roll around with. Very smart and easy to talk to as well. Glad I got the chance!

Ukrassler is a gentleman with whom you feel at ease as soon as you meet him. He is strong and has good control of his strength making you feel safe and comfortable at all times despite the difference in weight and size. I hope to repeat the experience one day and highly recommend him.

He flew out all the way from Denver, Colorado got a hotel and set it up all for our match. He was prompt and communicative which is always ideal, but even more so when I’m abroad with limited data, energy and spare time to chat. Literally couldn’t write an easier meet up if I tried.

Smallbutmighty. Very aptly named. Though only really small in stature honestly…

Don’t think I’ve ever fought a wrestler with such big arms before on this site. Equally as impressed as turned on. He got the first sub on me with a headlock and I’ve never felt so immobile. Made sure to avoid them throughout the match. We wrestled for about 2 hours or so and had pretty interesting chats in between rounds about anything and everything. He defends really well and I had to get creative with how i got my subs. Doesn’t give anything up easily which made it that much more challenging and fun

After our match he made sure to introduce me to Chick-Fil A and complete my American experience by widening my culinary tastes at one of your finest establishments.

I’ll be sure to wrestle him again should I ever get to Denver. You should too

This was a great fun match set up at short notice. Easy to communicate with, turns up as arranged, knows his stuff wrestling-wise. If only everyone on Meetfighters was like this, how different life here would be! A genuinely nice guy that was a pleasure to meet. Easiest recommendation for a long time!

This guy came out showing a body much harder that I anticipated. We were supposed to start slow, but you know how rhat goes.

Stubborn and full of energy like I have never seen. Usually I wait until my opponent makes some mistake, but there was nothing to exploit with him. Great use of legs and frames and a long but really fun stalemate.

Looking forward to another meeting when the chance arises.

It was really good to meet this charming and friendly wrestler. Very easy to set up the match and he is a great wrestler. Lots of energy, good use of holds and very determined. Well worth meeting if you are in Hong Kong.

wrestler dj taught me to never underestimate an opponent. Not only has he massive strength, he also is agile and very skilled. The fight was intense and exhausting - at least for me. More importantly, we had a lot of fun rolling for hours. It seemed like he has endless stamina. Off the mats he is a nice and mindful guy.

I felt lucky to be his 100th opponent :-)

Certainly want a rematch at some point!

We finally managed to meet before my departure . Very friendly guy . He was a bit cautious regarding the bed wrestling so I am sure he can be a tougher opponent on the floor . Need to meet him again to check it .

I remember meeting Mkell and thinking, "This guy seems ready to pass out; this won't be too hard."
Heh, that was not the case.
Despite a long day at work, he still had enough energy to kick my ass. His side control was unbreakable, his grips were vices, and the way he can find submissions demonstrates his expertise in BJJ. He also gave great advice to improve my game, and showed me a couple of submissions I haven't learned. He's a fun guy to banter and spar with–what a great time!
