It did, indeed, take a long time for us to get together, but boy it was worth the wait.
EssexUK is somebody with who I immediately clicked. A gentleman both in and out of the ring, I enjoyed every second of my time with him. As part of a small group meet, we initially had a good give n' take WoS session. He completely "gets" Britpro / WoS so that's a huge thumbs up from me. Even though he is a deal bigger than me, limits were always respected.
Things only got better when I found myself up against him in a tag match. And despite his protestations, there really was no need for him to "rescue" his tag partner; I wasn't bending the rules at all. (Well, maybe a little bit...)
If Britpro is your thing, EssexUK Britpro is your man!
Although we had met a few times previously, we had never had a one on one session. Until now. And what a blast we had. We had a good two hours in the ring, much of it based on ground work, and most of it featuring re-enacted moves and routines from our favourite WoS days. Proper wrestling! There's a bit of a size difference, but in true WoS fashion that made no odds. And so good to meet another wrestler who "gets" WoS!
EssexUK is pleasantness personified and, as I already knew, so easy to get on with. Absolutely 100% reliable, and a prompt and accurate communicator. I always feel entirely at ease with him in the ring, and he's tremendous company out of it.

"Taz is a super awesome guy, friendly and welcoming. He's a great host as well. But when it comes to who won't fight, I think he has a little memory loss, haha. He almost had me in the first couple of minutes, and it was not easy to defend myself from a 225-pound, 6’3 muscle beast, but in the end, I prevailed, haha. It was an awesome fight and a great back-and-forth. We were both out of breath and completely exhausted. He is a strong muscle beast with a few tricks up his sleeve. Taz knows his strength and knows how to use it, but he is always safe and respectful.
There will definitely be a rematch!!!!
I am so happy I got the chance to wrestle with this cocky but super fun dude. All around, he’s one of the coolest guys on the side, and when you get the chance to wrestle him, go for it. I guarantee you a fun and great match.

Was great to meet this guy sooner than later! Chatted for quite a bit before we met so already knew he was a stand-up guy, but meeting in person confirmed it. Had a great match that I think we both enjoyed (while we went at it and during downtime). Looking forward to more matches (and hopefully an outdoor one) ;)

Very easy to set up. He come as agree. Nice person, well educated. Nice body too. We are so similar in size. He made resistance with his big and strong arms. I dominated. Very nice encounter. Thanks Steve.

Both happen to have the afternoon available for an impromptu match. This rookie wrestler is not to be taken lightly as he has a few moves of his own. He got me to tap in a submission. Great guy, easy to communicate. Eager to wrestle with again.

Desde o final do mês de julho que havíamos iniciado um papo gostoso para termos a nossa luta, então o dia chegou. Combinamos, a data chegou, mas devido ao trânsito caótico de SP cheguei quase 2 horas atrasado. Apesar do atraso, não foi empecilho ou impedimento de ter uma hora de luta, muito prazerosa, cheio de suor, disputa de força e dominação. Fui valente e nem quis saber, mas ele me dominou, me fiz bater, já que o lutador é uma muralha, muito forte.
Pós luta foi incrível, o cara é extramente simpático, gente boa, gentil, inteligente, e conversamos. Pena que foi muito curto o tempo, mas na próxima teremos mais tempo de suarmos mais.

He came especially to me to Poznań from Krakow :-] We had a really nice and long gutpunching session togeather with our guest star: fightmax. Red Shadow is a really friendly guy and also a tough opponent. His abs are really hard to break. The guy has one of the toughest gut I had a pleasure to pummel. We used almost everything to test our abs: bare fists, boxing gloves, MMA gloves and kicks. We trade punches to the gut, punish our abs being tied up to the pillar and make some 2 on 1 gutpunching workover. After a solid beat up to my stomach, Red Shadow tied me to the pillar and broke my abs totally which was fun. He also has a really hard punch and can surelly deliver devastating punches. Highly recomended.

After a few weeks of talking, we managed to finally meet and every second was worth it.
He’s experienced and could show it in the mats, but we were able to have a very balanced match in the end.
Going to a fight with him, you should be sure that it would last for hours, as he has lots of energy and wants to use it.
Besides the match, he was very friendly and nice to keep in touch.
For sure he deserves a high recommendation!

I was happy to finally meeting this guy, after some conversations ages ago. He’s really strong and tireless, a type of guy you can roll for hours.
Although we didn’t have enough time, it was worth it to get his power and moves.
Very friendly guy, highly recommended! Hope we can have nee matches with more time soon.
