My schedule in Taipei was all over the place, so we were this close to scrapping our match. But I’m so glad he showed up anyway—turns out, it was one of the best calls we made.
Right off the bat, his energy stood out: warm, laid-back, and genuinely friendly, no awkwardness at all. His English isn’t flawless, but he never let that stop us—he took the time to type back in English, and that little extra effort made it feel so thoughtful. And since I speak Mandarin? Once we swapped (or even mixed!) languages, talking felt like a breeze.

In the ring, he’s a top-notch opponent—calm when things heat up, flexible about how we played, and let’s be real: he’s strong. I’m quite a bit smaller than him, so it took me a second to find my groove and fire back. But that’s what made it fun—trading moves, trying to outsmart each other for the upper hand… it never felt stressful, just pure enjoyment.

Outside the ring, he’s just as great—no big ego, just a really nice guy. If you’re in Taipei, or if he ever swings by your city, do yourself a favor and hit him up for a match. You won’t regret it.

我在台北的行程乱得像一团麻，本来都打算取消这场对局了。但还好他坚持赴约 —— 现在想想，这真是个超正确的决定。

一见面就觉得他的气场特别舒服：亲切、随和，还特别友善，完全没有陌生感。他的英文不算流利，但从没让沟通卡过壳 —— 他会特意花时间用英文回消息，这份用心真的很加分。而且我会说中文，后来不管是切换语言，还是中英混搭着聊，都特别顺畅。

到了对局时，他绝对是个靠谱的对手 —— 局势紧张时也很沉稳，愿意配合调整节奏，更不用说：他实力是真的强。我体型比他小不少，所以一开始得花点时间找状态、准备反击。但这正是乐趣所在 —— 你来我往地攻防，想办法占得先机…… 全程一点都不压抑，反而特别开心。

赛场之外，他也一样好相处 —— 没什么架子，就是个特别好的人。如果你在台北，或者他刚好去了你所在的城市，一定要找他约一场对局。绝对不会让你失望！

Got to meet NewFighter1998 after wanting to for quite a while. He looks cute in his profile and in real life even more. On the mats he fully embraced his brat side. Cheeky, cocky and making sure the match was not easy. It turned into a long roll, but always safe. In the end I did manage to come out on top. Off the mats he’s open, positive, and great to talk to, even about a few unexpected topics. I’d happily meet him again to see what tricks he brings next time… though maybe not too often, because wrestling him can get very intense.

Wrestlermatt is a cool, handsome and nice body guy with very good confident on his move. He has all he needs to put up a good fight. He also shared some cultural preference among fighters in Taipei (Taiwan) so it explains why some unusual encounter i met. He has strong strength and beware of what he did haha..but is not hard to find his weakness then u can nail him then. Do check him out if he is in your town too.

Wrestlermatt 是個很酷、很帥氣且身材優異的人，對自己的動作充滿自信。他具備了打好一場對決所需的所有條件。他還和我分享了台灣台北地區格鬥者之間的一些文化偏好，這也解釋了為何我之前會遇到一些特別的狀況。他的體力相當充沛，可得留意他的動作，哈哈…… 不過要找到他的弱點並不難，只要找到弱點，就能成功制住他。如果他剛好也在你所在的城市，也很推薦你去和他交流看看。

We've met a few times and every meetup was better than the last. Can't get into all the details here, but let's just say things went one-sided with a good pounding in the end. Glad to see MatRoc is back on here.. looking forward to the next match!

Samfighter and I got to put on the gloves and go a few rounds. We had a great time sparring and getting to know each other. He’s a great guy and talented boxer. He made up for my longer reach by getting inside and landing some good punches. Can’t wait for our next opportunity to mix it up again. Samfighter gets my highest recommendation!

Travelicious is a true athlete. A fantastic physique that can dish it out as well as take it. He tested my limits and made me earn every tap. I can't recommend this guy enough. Not only is he handsome and cut, his personality is a keeper. A great wrestler and an even better friend. Put him on your bucket list.

Met up with sumowrestlarico on his brief trip to Atlanta. As you’d expect, there was a pretty large size difference between us, and rico is all muscle. His pics definitely don’t do him justice. Thankfully, he’s still pretty new, otherwise I don’t think the outcome would have been the same. With more training, this guy will be a beast! He was also willing to go back and forth testing our scissors. His legs are just as strong as the rest of him. Definitely gotta get to the west coast so we can go at it again! Meet up with this guy if you have the chance.

What a nice man. Really polite and easy to talk to, but also very strong and a real powerhouse. Also flexible to his opponent's wishes if trying something new.

He is a very strong man, but deep down he is a gentleman and a very kind man with a great personality. His personality was conveyed through our messages even before we met. We share the same interests, so we quickly became close. He is a friend I will definitely meet again in the future. I highly recommend him.
