Had a great match time with this young beefy guy. It was a daddy vs son type of match trading holds, hands lock testing strength pushing each other around body squash and locks, even chokes ! The guy is a quick learner! And uses his weight very well. Lots of body on body pressure rolling all over the mats! Woof , great battle! Def recommend would like to meet again.

Definitely one of the coolest and my most favorite encounters on meat Fighters thus far. Friendly, intelligent, and super easy to get along with. On the mats he is like a chess master calculating three or four moves ahead. Kind enough to help me improve my game and who wouldn't want to learn from someone who knows jiu-jitsu, Taekwondo and more. I equally enjoyed our long very interesting conversations after the match. Definitely looking forward to many more meetups with this all around talented stud

I met Rico on his travels in Amsterdam. There’s a 32 kg difference between us—around 4–5 weight classes—so I walked in knowing I had no chance, and that proved true. I had a lot of fun being his rag doll, but was still happy to make him tap a few times with my scissors, even if he let me have those. He’s a super friendly, gentle guy. Happy trails on here!

He may be huge, but he is also very flexible – which makes it difficult to make him submit. But he is game enough to withstand all the contortions I subjected him to. He is also friendly off the mat. Highly recommended!

It was a really memorable experience getting to fight a senior fighter. His skills and techniques were obviously solid, but I came in with the ambition to overcome that with my own power and strength.

The fight was intense from start to finish, with an ending that really left an impression. I also got to learn a lot from him—he shared plenty of knowledge and experience, which I truly appreciate.

When visiting JKT a common theme was are you meeting Hobi from several guys and he epitomises Indonesians in general.Friendly happy and just great to be around.To meet him initially he is polite humble but wrestling like switching on a light and becomes a ball of energy.He has his weaknesses which aren't hard to work out but his personality his laughter and sheer enjoyment makes this guy a standout to meet.He showed to quote him 'Indonesian hospitality' throughout the match and I 'equally' showed him Australian hospitality :).Though I successfully controlled the match sometimes its not the winning as much as the enjoyment of the opponent and this guys personality ranks of the charts.Just a great guy
