Uppercut and I have been chatting for a while, and we finally got to spar this weekend. He's incredibly strong and has incredible arms (and chest), and he knows how to use them to wear his opponents down. Off the mat, he's relaxed and very polite.

He's been playing with less power due to a strained and injured left back and thigh.

I've been wanting to meet Uppercut for a while, and I'm so glad we fought. On the mat, Uppercut is as powerful and skilled as everyone says—and very safe too. We wrestled for about an hour, and even though I didn't get a single tap from him, I still thoroughly enjoyed our match. Off the mat, Uppercut is a humble and respectful man—a great host and very communicative.
I hope to see him again and I highly recommend him.

Had a great match with this stud yesterday. This dude is strong and has great skills. He got me to tap quickly. Great match, very physical, good banter back and forth. Looking forward to seeing him again on the mats soon.

His enthusiasm for fighting seems infinite. Watching the progress he is making over the years watching his profile is quite impressive. He seems to improve month by month. His body is in great shape and i cant wait for him to progress even more. His willingness to be strong and to win is inspiring and is making it so fun to engage in a fight with him. Unfortuanetly for him I am able to channel a surprsing amount of strength and if challanged i am more than happy to give what i am asked for. I know that he is determined to earn his first submission against me ... I hope he is not disaapointed that i didnt get lazy in the meantime. So come at me.

Off the mats he is still radiating his passion for fighting and niche stuff like lift and carry. Being part of a rather small community like meetfighters i value the chance to meet people here who share with me even more niche interests which might or might not be connected to fighting. He is kind enough to take into consideration me being more calm and unhurried by nature and responds accordingly. Next time he will have another chance to prove himself against me or get overpowered again. I dont mind either way.

He is making impressive progress on his body and strengthening his physique more and more. I am excited where his journey is going. Knowing his personality i am sure he is going to push through no matter what.

Had a fun time with calad in his beautiful flat (and meeting his gorgeous dog), with some good back and forth for a pretty long match up. Very easy to meet up with, nice to chat to in general, and a lot of fun to roll with, would join the others here recommending without hesitation!

Kubaw466 is the literal personification of "do not get fooled by his nice personalitiy". He is very well trained in bjj and knows how to lean into his strength, that i am sure about. His approach to fighting feels very safe. Maybe a little bit like playing chess, trying to figure out the next best move. His transition from defending to attacking is fluent and he definetily knows which little adjustments and movements he has to make in a fight. And he is doing all of that while being calm and keeping a smile on his face. Sadly our match was cut way to short and i owe him a decent encounter.

Off the mats he is super nice, like really. Easy to talk to and communicating well about anything. He would have been willing to pick me up if i didnt have a ride already. He is super welcoming aswell and is offering a lot of possibilities to meet and talk. I feel almost bad that i didnt had the opportunity to make the most out of it due to distance. Fully recommended to roll with this fun guy.

That is an experience which feels so unique to me and i am glad that I have experienced to fight the skilled and technical fighter. On and off the mats Kubaw is such a reasonable, approachable and nice guy. Easy to talk to. Communicating well. Always having a smile on his face. It is treat to be around him.

After a long time chatting we finally got to meet this week, loved every moment of it. An is a very easy going guy that gives you feeling you know him for years, thought me some moves, generous to give pointers while fighting, and while giving those pointers he has a way to make em easy to understand so you pick up on it way fast. Unfortunately for him i liked trying out those pointers and moves to the fullest when i got the hang of em. Off mats we got along very well, polite, respectful and fun to talk too, i really hope we can meet again soon!

What a pleasure to roll with guy on proper mats. Having met him now for the second time should show clearly that i recommend this guy as an opponent. I would have recommended him before for sure ... my lazy ass was just too slothful to sit down and write one, my bad haha.

Really big guy. As a non lightweight guy it is a treat being able to fight somebody in the same weightclass. Something which is sort of new to me, a field in which i can explore a lot and learn just by rolling on the mats. I am glad that i was able to do so. I can say that his chokes are deadly, so be careful about those. One thing i might be jealous about is his flexibility, which comes in handy for him on the mats.

I was able to spend quite some time after the fight to talk with him. He has a charming, playful and witty personality. Coming with good jokes and lots of little brain teasers. Enjoyed my time with hi fully.

Chicagowrestbox and I were finally able to coordinate our schedule and have a match at my place. Well worth the wait! Chicagowrestbox came with his gear and ready to wrestle. We had a good struggle and a workout. This wrestler is reliable, fun and highly recommended.

I cannot recommend this strong fighter and beautiful soul more. Of course it is easy to connect when having a passion for the same thing like fighting. Before meeting him i got a feeling that this encounter will be really good and could think of some possible outcomes on the mats. I haven't formed any expectations, but if i had, oh man, those would have been blasted away.

Moving with him on the mats felt like rolling with a veteran who did this sport since being very little. I am so impressed, and kinda puzzled that this is not the case for him. He picked up so much technique and skill in somewhat of a short period of time and i will follow with fascination how much more he will be able to pick up. He is strong and not afraid of any kind of opponent. In this case of me being the one with the height and weight advantage. I can see myself in a world of trouble if not being able to counteract with my ultimate defense ... earning me the nickname slippery eel for the evening. Good luck earning a submission against this resistant fighter. Doing so is a task and a half.

Being able to connect with him on a personal level made the time even more enjoyable for me. He has such a kind and sweet personality. There had been so many little surprises the day i met him. I am really glad that he spend so much time with me and looking forward to do more of that.

I had met hedloker UK already once, last year when I was a mere spectator. At this year's open mat he was meant to be my last roll and it seemed like he patiently waited his turn :-) when you see him, your first insitinct is not to hurt him. but once you roll with him, your mind changes. He knows his way around the mat, knows how to handle every kind of opponent and still manages to be modest, patient and kind of gentle. He taught me some moves (which I immediately applied on him, much to his surprise) and finally he got to show me he can be pretty damn efficient himself. Whatever you think about shorter, lighter and / or older guys, forget it. he is such a great guy on and off the mat, cannot wait for our next time. 5 STAR recommendation!!
