Recommendations

I was told when I started training BJJ to manage my energy and not to be afraid of losing. Well, with this guy I didn't have much choice! I'd like to say I was tired from a long weekend of other matches but the truth is I was simply outwrestled by this technically skilled, strong guy who got submission after submission. Great host, easy to communicate with, and if I were in his area would challenge him regularly to improve my game.

Had the pleasure of training with this warrior at the recent Triangles Everywhere meetup. Tough, fast, flexible, tactical, aggressive... I could go on, but basically you'd better be packing a decent degree of legit training or you are going to get pasted by RoninWarrior. We were pretty competitive on the mats, but without my size advantage I'd have been lunch, I suspect.

I am eagerly anticipating our next chance to roll!

EDIT: got to roll with Ronin again at the recent TE meetup; he's as tough as ever! He's been doing a lot of freestyle wrestling training, and it shows. Always a pleasure! Wrestle this guy if you can!

Great guy, personality and body, got on well, ready to tall to, had a lot of fun! Good guy for a play wrestle :)

Sorry DAs ich erst so spät schreibe. Traf gpuncher im zweiten Anlauf nach längerem Chat dann endlich bei mir in Frankfurt. Er ist ein sympathischer junger Mann mit dem man tolle Gespräche führen kann, geht es aber zum gutpunchen macht er seinem Namen alle Ehre. Nach einer Weile Faustbearbeirung meiner doch relativ guten Bauchmuskeln gab er ihnen mit drauf stellen, drüber laufen und div. anderen Tricks den Rest.
Schade das es so warm war, somit kamen wir nicht zum kämpfen. Hoffe es kommt auch deswegen zu einem weiteren Treffen bei angenehmeren Temperaturen. Wer also einen gutpuncher sucht der die Bauchmuskeln aufmischt dem kann ich gpuncher wärmstens empfehlen zu 100%

He wrestles to the standard of his opponent whether experienced or not as skilled as what I am, gave me a few pointers and did use them to my advantage.. Thanks Al.

Friendly guy very easy to get along with

I had a really good play wrestle with this guy. It was easy to arrange, we got on really well and enjoyed each other’s company. I would definitely recommend meeting him if you get the chance.

Très bonne rencontre avec Lutte71, un très bon lutteur, bonne connaissance technique, vif et endurant ! il est également un bon coach car il n’hésites pas à enseigner ce qu'il sait quitte à favoriser son adversaire et à se mettre en difficulté. En dehors des combats, nous avons eu de très bonne discussion et c'est un mec très sympa ! Ce fut un plaisir de lutter avec lui et on se reverra...

After a few years of chatting, I was rather excited to finally meet up with mattz4fun and I have to say, he definitely didn't disappoint. He was worth the 2 years of waiting and then some. I don't think I've ever had a more enjoyable match.

He's insanely strong, technically skilled, and I think our interests aligned just so (i.e. he enjoyed making me suffer and I enjoyed him making me suffer), so things worked out. All in all, easy to meet up with, easy on the eyes, and a brutal (yet safe) heel if that's what you like.

Would happily wrestle him again if we were ever in the same area.

Although he appears to be a newcomer BrettJones is no novice and has some experience of meets under his belt. Articlulate, genuine and well educated he was a pleasure to be in the company of. Very easy to arrange the meet with and keen to share his local knowledge when we did. He's keen as when grappling, strong, willing to keep going and happy to inflict 'pain' where possible. He will take advantage of any opportunity to get the upper hand. Recommended without reservation.

Met Highwayman on his recent travels in Edinburgh. Friendly guy to meet and wrestle, also an interesting guy to have a chat with over a post match beer.
