Scoot and I messaged during my visit to Helsinki. And quickly established what we wanted to do. Punches to the face. Simple.

Based on my past experience on this site there are a lot of talkers and fantasists. Scoot is neither. Very communicative. True to his word. And took some good punches to the face. Probably one of the most exciting meets I’ve had. Helps he’s a nice guy too but didn’t stop me from wanting to give him 2 black eyes. Really hope our paths cross again.

Dobok est agréable, profondément gentil et fiable.
Rapidement à l’aise, vous découvrirez un karatéka passionné par son art martial et un adversaire qui a travaillé toutes ces dernières années pour obtenir un corps très athlétique qui a pris de la masse et du muscle ! De bonnes cuisses puissantes, des abdo dessinés et des squates très efficaces…

Super genuine guy ! reliable, communicative, and exactly as advertised. He’s strong, knows how to control his power, and made the match both safe and intense in the best way. Easy to set up, showed up on time, and brought great energy throughout. Off the mats he’s friendly, respectful, and great to hang with.

I highly recommend and definitely worth meeting if you get the chance.

Après un premier contact il y a quelques mois, j’ai enfin eu le plaisir d’être reçu par Combatausol. L’accueil a été des plus sympathiques, dans un espace parfaitement adapté à la pratique : une belle surface de tatami offrant d’excellentes conditions de lutte.
Combatausol est un lutteur-judoka expérimenté, coriace, doté d’une belle force physique et d’une maîtrise technique évidente. La séance a été particulièrement sportive et équilibrée, chacun ayant pu exprimer ses qualités à tour de rôle, dans une ambiance de respect et de bonne humeur.
C’est un partenaire fiable, agréable et cultivé, que je recommande vivement à toute personne souhaitant s’entraîner sérieusement tout en passant un bon moment.
À son initiative, nous avons conclu la séance par un exercice d’attaque-défense au paintknife, aussi instructif que révélateur de nos lacunes dans ce domaine. Une excellente idée qui témoigne de sa curiosité et de son esprit d’analyse.

I met Marcus at a group meet, and had a good submission wrestle.

This man just loves wrestling, and he has the great ability to adjust his skill to your level, yet make it competitive at the same time. He pushes your limits safely, and makes you work hard. Saying that, he doesn’t give ground, and I didn’t get a single submission, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the session. I also threw in a few gut punches, which of course had zero effect. He just smiled!

Marcus is strong, in great shape, and is a real nice guy to chat with. But you already know that if you’ve read any of the other recommendations.

Steve was such a great person to wrestle with at a group meet.

We had a semi-competitive match, with plenty of back and forth, with either of us nothing to prove, and multiple submissions. He always has a smile on his face, even when tying you up in knots. Steve was great to chat with off the mats as well.

I highly recommend this strong, fit and handsome wrestler if you want a fun, physical wrestle.

Had a great time learning some moves with Novice Guy. He gave great tips on holds, and was fun to talk to in between bouts. He's a fun fight, with some crazy strong scissors. Can't recommend him enough, and definitely looking forward to another match.

New to site, 1st meeting up with BJJWrestlerLasVegas. He is highly skilled and knowledgeable in Brazilian Ju-jitsu and was able to show me the basics. The submissions were amazing. He makes his opponent, feel comfortable, respects boundaries, as openly discussed, and is easy to talk to. Nice guy and is passionate about his sport.

I finally got to meet and get into a match up with Trapdoor at a group meet at Pippa’s. He is a terrific and legit fighter, but is willing adapt his style to suit others. We had a good couple of battles on the mat and loved every second of it. He’s also a great guy to talk to off the mat and is very friendly. Can’t wait for a rematch!

Wrestle-Sub16 has got a real edge for submission + kink and can take a lot of punishment!

This guy’s so creative he taught an old dog new tricks and was up for a good back-and-forth on the mats.

If you get the chance to meet or roll with him, you won’t be disappointed.
