This post isn't directly related to Meetfighters. It's related to my personal YouTube channel and the self-discovery regarding gaming, sublimation, my mental state, berserkergang, and fictional warrior/berserker-mindset. Since my YouTube Community Post journey has officially ended for now, I wanted to repost its overview post across my socials.

YouTube Overview Community Post:

This post is dedicated to all new Guild wars 2 players, warrior players and everyone, who's looking for advice, information about me, my channel or a community. It will also contain the answers to the most asked questions in comments and make the background info of my channel easily accessable through one post.

Most importantly I want to start by recommending the discord channel of my guild, the "Bullshit Brigade". If you are a new Guild wars 2 player, a new warrior player or just someone, who is in general looking for a community, you are always very welcome to join. Those guys are much more social and helpful than I could ever be. They will welcome everyone and gladly help out new players. There are a lot of experienced warrior mains and players, who are active, willing to answer questions and help out in both PvE and PvP.

The second part of this post will offer links to all of my previous community posts, that are potentially providing some sort of information on Berserker for new players. Consider, that this information is based on my own perception of the game and that playing an overly mobile and squishy warrior build may objectively be bad for getting to a high rank, as it is very vulnerable, easy to counter and has very bad synergy with other mobile classes and teams, that do not provide a certain amount of support. Also it is important to consider, that the info provided in those community posts is coming from the perspective of someone, who has a lot of playtime on Berserker, but barely any playtime on other classes, so it's simplified, one dimensional and one may agree or disagree to this Information. I still think that my point of view may offer some value to especially completely new players.

It is in general very important to mention Valluns Conquest PvP guide. I believe, that looking into this can save new players a lot of time and frustration, while quickly turning them into beasts in PvP. Honestly, I wish this was available when I started the game and I think every Guild Wars 2 PvP player should watch this video at least once:


Answering other questions I've been asked in the comments over the years:

First of all, my videos aren't all recent. I enjoy creating and uploading a lot of videos. Playing and uploading is like some sort of meditation to me and It's a habit to record and just upload videos, cause it's relaxing and keeps me mentally occupied. Since there is no point in uploading all videos at once, some of those are planned far ahead into the future. As long as I have a PC and time available, there will always be recent uploads inbetween, but majority of my uploads are distorted in uploading time, so there may be "different timelines".

Do I share my exact warrior build directly? The answer to that is "no". The reason why I don't create a build video is mostly because I like originality, creativity and versatility. I'm happy to give advice, but I dislike giving solutions. I believe, that just straight up copying a build in order to button mash through the game does not grant any long term gratification. To me it's the equivalent of buying a "The Legend of Zelda" game just to look up every solution. Here are the community posts related to the topic:

The skin of the wings I'm often using in my videos is called "Draconic Wings Backpack" and it's occassionally available in the gem store. The name of the greatsword is "Twilight" and it can either be crafted or bought from other players ingame. The outfit on the first picture added to this post is called "True Assassin's Guise Outfit".

The "pointer/crosshair" on the screen is there because I'm playing the game in "action combat mode", which is an option that's available through the key settings, by addressing a key to the function of "entering/leaving action combat mode". However, it is generally not recommended to play PvP in action combat mode. There are certain disadvantages to doing so and some classes/builds/weapons may have a harder time being viable with it than others.

The option to hold down a key in order to temporarily untarget opponents to jump away or even through them with mobillity skills is also available by addressing a key to the specific function in the key settings.

The letters "U, I, Z, O, P" and so on are visible on my screen, because I use a gaming mouse, which requires me to address keys of my mouse to specific keys of my keyboard. Using a gaming mouse is highly recommended by me in order to play any MMORPG comfortably, because you can move with "W, A, S, D" and use the surrounding keys + additional mouse buttons for other stuff in order to move rather freely.

Unfortunately I have no idea, why my ingame health bars may be looking differently from those of others. If there's no option for that in the ingame settings, I certainly haven't changed anything. I could imagine, that it may somehow be connected to me playing on a TV.

I really hope this will help some players getting into the game and offer them a smooth start by providing some sort of platform, that's putting basic information about the game, my channel and my personal life together.

Final Edit: As stated in my latest writing, my personal phase of psychological self-discovery and theory-crafting around Guild Wars 2 and Warriors/Berserkers is officially completed and there's nothing game-changing to discover anymore. Therefore, this community overview project is finished for now and I'll "freeze" it in its current state. I have decided to disable the comment notifications for my channel. I just think it would be highly hypocritical to not inform people when my focus on my hobbies prevents me from engaging in small talk.
